Right before NXT kicked off their UK tour in Aberdeen, Scotland, ITR caught up with one of NXT's newest signees, the returning Drew McIntyre! After finding out who his opponent would be in Aberdeen, Drew talks about why he's back in WWE and in NXT specifically, talks about helping ICW prosper to the heights it did, wanting to see NXT in the Superstar Shake Up and his memories of working with The Undertaker in his first WWE run.

Such a class act. Will always remember meeting him in Aberdeen a couple of years ago. Stayed 2 and half hours after the end of the show to talk to hundreds of fans who came to see him and posed for photographs at no extra cost. Really good dude, talked with him for a good 5 minutes about wrestling and I'm sure he'll have his much deserved success in NXT now

I think many people would argue that the things that set NXT apart from Raw and Smackdown are what make it great. If they start investing more money into it and upping the scale to attract a larger audience Vince would Pay more attention, which I don't think would be a good thing.

Nah, i think he left in good terms. At least in ICW he really had a classy sendoff. The only real downside is his world cup qualification that had to be re booked, but that was a lose lose situation

I've not watched wcpw in a while, so I'm not 100% on the details. But on Ben's Kayfabulous podcast he was saying how Drew won/retained the WCPW championship knowing he was on his way to NXT, but didn't inform anyone at WhatCulture he was leaving. Dick move imo
