@@sojourner2x so The Shield were a faction in the 2010’s consisting of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. In this video, Cody was telling a stories about Randy Orton acting juvenile and impulsive for humorous reasons and would pretend to be extremely angry at the smallest things to haze rookie wrestlers. In this one occasion, Cody was around and went to call Randy out to stop him before things got out of hand but his excuse was “the shield guys haven’t seen it, I’m just showing them” and what’s funny about that is that Randy thinks that justifies his brash actions simply because he finds it funny even thought it’s quite extreme to everyone else. I hope this helps.

I'd be shocked if someone breaks Randy's record for the youngest champ all time in WWE. In the old system it could be done, but nowadays, it usually takes at least 2 years for someone to get out of developmental. Even if WWE happens to sign you at 18-20, I'm guessing it'll probably take at least 2 years to develop until you're ready for the main roster. So best case you have 4 years to prove yourself and get to the top of the card. Ever since NXT went live, AJ, Seth and Drew are the only names I can think of who got the titles in less than 4 years, and they were all established stars before NXT. In 2014, NXT was a place where some of the very best indy wrestlers were signed, but the 2024 NXT is miles different.
