Oh dude, hell yeah, I think it's awesome. If I was a WWE Superstar, or even a writer or a producer, I'd always call the other superstars by their ring names. I'd call Paul Levesque "Triple H" or "Hunter", I'd call Chris Jericho by "Jericho", or CM Punk by "Punk", or even call Becky Lynch by "Lynch", and even call Seth Rollins by "Rollins". I don't know, it just makes you sound more cool. Is that just me?

@In Plain Sight how many people complained when Taker and HBK main event 26? Cena vs Rock 28? Roman and Taker.......no that match was shit.(not only because of Taker's take where he didn't give it his all, but roman was total shit to work with in not being able to help a veteran out in the match)

Legends never die, I applaud you and the fans in Toronto that night for making the match what it was. You guys were the show stealers that night. But in all due fairness, there was no way of knowing that the whole crowd was going to pop 200% like it did for Hogan. If the WWE was expecting that kind of crowd reaction for Hogan, then surely they would have put that match on last. Of course, hindsight is 20-20. But at the time, it only made sense that the World Heavyweight Championship would be the last match on the card.

@@jp6046 oh ya I don't think they had any idea it would have been that much pro Hogan. I remember hogan saying that he had to call the match because the rock was surprised that he was getting bood. I feel the main event (last match) should be worth watching not like the miz vs john cena, I was like bored with that match coz I was recovering from the undertaker vs triple h match. Also he pay check too, he said he wasn't happy with it and talked to Jim ross about his case and jim ross passed on the message to Vince mcmahon and said, give him another check. Pushing Jericho as the first undisputed champion was the right call. His heat was astronomical. The aftermath elevated his stock entirely, dude went from a midcarder to a worldwide top talent and looking back everything that happened was incredible for him. Can’t imagine what it would’ve been like had it been Triple H that was crowned, 2 other egos would’ve been hurt, and the storyline wouldn’t have been as memorable, e.g. Triple H vs Scott Steiner or Triple H vs Goldberg. Pushing HHH as the top heel that was over in most big matches was hard for awhile. Kurt and Y2J just fit the bill better.

The reign itself may not have been as great as it should've been but Jericho can still forever say he beat Stone Cold and The Rock in the same night to become THE FIRST Undisputed World Champion. Also always loved that Jericho was never afraid of Vince, respected his bosses wishes, but always bet on himself and that's why he's successful in everything he does. Jericho could've done Hollywood if he wanted to but instead started a successful rock band that he brought to a cruise where they had a wrestling event. VKM couldn't have even dreamt that up in his worse fever dream lol When Jericho retires he'll be forever in the GOAT conversation, and for me that's what he is. Because he wasn't exactly meant to be as popular as he is but with his constant reinventions and good ring ethic, he's one of the most beloved names in wrestling.

Company should have gotten more behind him and gave him more creative control. Guy really is brilliant; his AEW run is incredible. He's as interesting as the Rock on screen honestly but had a harder path to the top due to being undersized. I still would definitely put him in the top 10 overall just from workability standpoint. He could work with anybody and make it interesting.

Punk’s point was actually about money. He said that, if his match with Taker was classed as the main event then he should’ve been paid the same as the official main event match. Very similar to what Jericho says here in fact.

It was also his pride, and not in a bad way, he felt they didn't value what he was worth, in 2011 he was the hottest wrestler in the world by far, and instead of giving him something good, they sent Triple H to beat him, then R truth and Miz, and when he was champion he never main evented nothing, it was always John Cena in very weird matches with The Big Show and John Laurinaitis, that's what started to make him feel angry

@@ReaperFrost dont forget John Cena vs The Miz... and JC vs The Rock... *twice* . CM Punk genuinely got fucked over at Wrestlemanias. With the two biggest guys in WWE history fighting two wrestlemania main events in a row, the most hyped up match... ever. Which was built up an entire year by Miz vs Cena. And what did Punk get? A match against Jericho, and a match against the Undertaker which would be another obvious win for Taker.

Chris should cut his hair, unseemly at his age not to. He had it shorter 4 or 5 years ago, and it looked great. Or if not chop it, at least he could acquire and use some hot oil, or deep treatment conditioner? Olaplex, look into it.

Let's be fair once triple h started dating and then married Stephanie McMahon he was never going to have a bad payday. I completely agree with Jericho here it should of been 50/50. To be honest I whole business model still blows my mind they are independent contractors so self-employed but are very specifically contracted so technically not self-employed but don't get any of the benefits of being an employee. But then a American business practises are bizarre anyway like having to tip in restaurants so the staff can make a living wage plus no paid annual leave or sick leave.
