Luc is the paragliding design master of the last 15 years. Great to hear from him. Good questions Marcus, thanks.

What a great mind in our sport. Really great we have people like him moving things significantly forward in so many areas. Looking forward to fly one as we now have come a long way with 10 years of refinement, since the very first 6.5 AR 2liner, the Peak 3. Only real downside was the climb in weak stuff, otherwise almost a bullet-proof wing which got me totally hooked on 2liner flying 😃Really keen on seeing how Ozone got that sorted - and ordered one 😝 Thanks for this great interview!

Well done Luc. Should be really good to fly. Why the advance style winglets? Stef Juncker

Nice wing❤, When will we have Rush 7 ? And will it have winglets?

So, its like a Alpina, but two liner with fin on tops of wing ends

what he says about winglets. does it apply also for advance winglets which are more to the sides?

Would love to read an objective comparison between the Ozone Photon and the Advance Sigma 11

We expect to have a Photon for review soon, and I am sure Ziad will be testing as well so hopefully you will get some answers soon

Did I hear that right? At 2m 30s, Luc says ~15cm / second difference (in sink rate ?) compared to the Delta 4.
@madeupwithit Жыл бұрын
I thought that sounded like a lot too 😮
@stephennoble741 Жыл бұрын
Ozone said the same for the delta4, a 12cm/s improvement on the delta3

A lot of people say a 2-liner should be flown with a seat board harness. How did you find it with the GTO lite? I find the GTO low on weight shift but ok with an Alpina.
@xcmag Жыл бұрын
Hi John I only got to fly it for 30 minutes, as was aware of the queue of people wanting to try it and it was in early thermals. However I found no problem in putting the Photon where I wanted in the thermals flying the GTO and felt right at home on it very quickly. Looking forward to getting to know it better when the review wing arrives.

@@xcmag Thanks for the info. I look forward to the review.

lol, who says that? I doubt even 30% of zeolites, OXAs, klimbers, Scalas, etc are flown with a searboard. It might be not for everyone, but well, that's how it works.

I fly an X-Alps 3 with a Lightness 2 harness which is seatboardless. Flies fine, but it's noticeable when the chest strap is at loosest setting.

mmmh winglet for spiral neutrality doesn`t seems a great sales argument, cause i think if you fly EN-C you should knonw already spiral and exit through SIV course...
