Kind of off-topic, but I wonder if the Midjourney team would have done things differently with respect to tying their product to a Discord bot if they knew they were gonna become a serious contender in the text-to-image space. I guess it helped adoption since a lot of people already used Discord, but now being limited to essentially a chat platform as an interface when competitors can have a more purpose built image editing UI must be annoying.

So, could you theoretically upload an image of yourself to midjourney using the /imagine [insert picture] link. Have the prompt be minimal, then use what is produced to be face swapped onto a character, then --seed that character to put you in new situations?

Hi Olivio, your videos are gold nuggets.. i have been using this /saveid feature from yesterday and it is fun but just from few hours back, i am not being able to apply the 'Inswap' option. as soon the image is generated in the newly created server, the message is coming from the Midjourney server, 'The Original Message has been Deleted' . After refresh i can't find the generations either. But normal direct message to Midjourney server is working fine, generations are unaffected there. Any clue on that? Thanks in advance.

Does it take a while to respond to commands? I added the app, did a saveid command and uploaded an image, but doing InSwapper on an image only responds with the immediate message and nothing more. /ListId isn't working either.

@@user-sy8zj2sq7w you don't need Midjourney. This bot has nothing to do with Midjourney. You need a Discord server and there you invite the InsightFace Bot and then upload any image to that discord server and use the right click menu as shown in the video

I readily admit to being one of the world's slowest learners. I tried with this video a hundred times and got the desired result exactly twice. Now when I right-click on the generated image in MJ I still see the Apps but when I go there, Face swap isn't offered. I don't know if I'm working or supposed to be working in my newly created server or regular MJ? Also, Once Face Swap is invited into my server do I have to redo that every time or should it always be there? Please help. Thanks.

Cute, but SD's image to image using a custom model and ControlNet is way better, with much more control on how much of the original picture (hair/beard/glasses) you want to preserve or overwrite.

On SD, for the best result, you have to create your own model adding your pictures. Then using image to image and ControlNet you will have far better results.
