Sickle can be outclassed by some weapons, such as the Breaker or Plas-1 Scorcher it's a good gun for bugs and Automatons but I feel like it doesn't need a Nerf or buff.

None of them are comparable to the sickle because even if the damage and the penetration are mid it is the fastest primary weapon in the game, so depending on the mission I either take the plas-1 or the sickle

@@ionael-marievicente5633I used the sickle for two weeks and it’s a “good” gun. That charge up will f you over if you’re not careful and the damage is just alright. Dominator and scorcher are by far better options

With this gun I effectivly clear every mission with 2500 rounds fired, the most kills, and most accuracy, its deadly on bots since all you need is headshots to kill fast. Don't need armor pen if you know how to aim even half decent. Also the breaker against bots doesn't work well anymore, at least for me.

If you know where to aim you can take down almost anything

@@Xantosh82 I'm aware. The problem is that the gun can perform against the bots well enough, but is not ideal compared to alternative options. You need to force the bots to face in your direction to deal headshot damage. Not exactly the situation you want to be in because the gun can't stagger them. Getting mowed down by devestators is much higher if facing them with only the Sickle.

@@corysteiner1218 that's why i usually run the autocannon and maybe eats as well i use also aim for their knees or midriff, you can also take their gun arms off! if they are shield bearers i aim for the backpack it is so easy to hit even when they are front on!

You don't use it for armor penetration. You use to clear the light adds. Qasar takes out Heavy Devestators and Hulka. The synergy between the Sickle and Qasar is incredible.

It's good, but I prefer the Scorcher so I dont have to try and flank striders or waste nades on them.

@@xDjembex autocannon is my mainstay secondary, it is a good al-rounder, and great for destroying factories and bug holes if your aim is on point, use the shrapnel from the AC to ricochet down a factory hole from afar!

The LAS-16 is good but build dependant, great pick for Fodder. Best suited for medium ranges. Not my favourite for Bugs. Definitely useable, the wind up time can get you caught at point blank or when swarmed. Shotguns are a better pick overall and are more likely to get you out of some tough situations. For Bots it’s a different story. Most engagements happen at range, this is where the LAS-16 excels. Can’t deal with armour but use the appropriate Support Weapon to compliment/ make up for its short comings. I’ll also add that if you learn where to shoot every weapon can become a powerhouse. All weapons are purpose built, use them accordingly.

The eruptor provides both armor penetration and staggering power, both of which are extremely useful against bots. It also provides additional utility such as being able to blow up fabricators and AoE damage. Only two things I personally dislike about the gun is its maximum 150 meter range before the bullet blows up mid air and how loud it is to nearby enemies. Don't plan to be stealthy with this gun, the explosion from your shots causes enemies as far as ~100 meters to come investigate.

Funnily enough, I use the scorcher more than the sickle. The sickle is still S tier and I do run it occasionally on bug missions but I prefer the power of the scorcher.

Its OK, & can be GREAT with a squad, but solo, or split away, bugs have too high numbers to not have it overheat, and bots will just kill you for shooting at them with it.

Railgun is being used too much so we nerfed it, then released the best Primary and Support weaoons that 3/4 players per swuad will use.

Agreed, at least on neutral or colder planets, any laser based weapons on hot planets are no Bueno. Having said that sickle is one of my favorite primary weapons, especially against the bots.

It's not the most effective for taking out devastators. The incendiary breaker also has a faster kill rate against Terminids specifically. But the las-sickle is most well rounded weapon in the game. Some guns may have more lethality in some scenarios but this gun has essentially infinite ammo and a decent lethality against most medium to light enemies.

Well your comparing two different guns used for two different things, the sickle is great against bots cause of its accuracy and volume of fire, headshots are all you need and with a basically bottomless mag, I clear 2500 rounds fired every mission with ease. But the incin breaker, I wouldn't use that on metal bots, I'd use it against the fleshy bugs who'd have a shit time against flame and pellets

@@lightbearer1550 exactly my point. This video claims the sickle is the best primary in general. You agree that the Incendiary is better for bugs. The point I failed to get across is that the sickle is the most reliable well rounded gun. But that doesn't make it the best because guns that serve more specific purposes do their role much better.

It’s okay for short and mid range because the shots jump around the crosshairs lol meaning the grouping jumps around…not like the others where you can shoot bots heads off effectively from a good distance

Not a fan for bots, but it's amazing against bugs. Sickle, flamethrower, grenade pistol and extra grenade armor and you'll be closing large nests no problem.

Scorcher is the only S tier primary gun for both factions. You won’t change my mind but you can add weapons or buff the current ones. That’d be nice.

It does as it says on planet effect. The opposite is with the hot planets. So I usually go with planets that are cold as I can shred so many enemies with it.

I like Sickle. A bit more than Scorcher, yes, maybe it sounds weird. But I don't worry about the ammo with this. I've had more fun too. Scorcher...well. If it had 30 ammo size in one mag, I'd happily carry that. They could also upgrade the scope. The other primary which used to be good was slugger before the nerf..Oh well. Good luck out there.
