In this video, I talk about how a dopamine detox will help you become more productive and make hard work easy for you. Nowadays success is less about what we can add to our lives, but more about what we can remove from our lives. Dopamine detox has been immensely helpful for me whenever I need to reset.

Dopamin is there for a reason,it is a stress reliver and it maybe sounds like a good idea to change your habbits of how you spend your free time ,but you will really change them only if you have a good reason. If you didn't change them till now, maybe you will in the future, when emotional isolation kicks in along with depression, chores, people being mad at you for not being responsible to them,or just missing deadlines, losing jobs, not passing exams, not having luck in relationships... Everybody has different motivations and different levels of tolerance to lack of that something they care about in their lifes. But, eventually, we all care about something. In that sense, stress is good for you, because it will be hard for you while it lasts, but if you want something to change and you don't distract yourself with massive dopamine producing activities when you are feeling bad about yourself, you will change. After that stress passes or during that stress you will be so full of it, you will "have to" make some changes in your life and then comes the "discipline".That is, doing the most important thing at the start of the day as you said and letting yourself get massive dopamine only from doing sport and from real people and of course "doing always the right thing whether you feel like it or not", is motto of every self-disciplined and successful super human :DD .

Thanks for this video, Insight Junky. I have seen a lot of videos on the topic of dopamine but none of them is as informative and as motivational as this one. I am 13 and this dopamine problem is messing with us teenagers. From now on, I will adopt the dopamine detox lifestyle so that I can be 10x better than my friends.
