It's in meters, based on the metric system if you use snellens in 6/6 notations If you use the 20/20 feet notations of snellens then it's in feet

I got the answer See distance is decreasing from 36m to 6m,,means it's 6 times decreasing so angle will increase 6 times,,so 5 minutes of arc *6 =30 minutes of arc I try my best to explain

It is they only take letters which fit in box eg: b this box is divided into 1 and they have collm 5 so they take it as 5 arc so 5min
