Placement in 2020 and 2021,2022 was very good,max package 64 lac for M.Tech But this 2023 it is ok and going on due to the recession,but I will guaranteed that next year placement will go very well as previously so don't worry about placement, if you are capable definitely you will get good placement.

Truth is no one can help you in your coding and project, so you have to figure out how to explain your project at interview time so for this please choose simple project,and learn basic coding from gfg and practice it. There is no need to high level coding skills, if you focus on basics this will work for you.

Actually most of companies are allow to all branches (cse, civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, wireless communications etc) to go threw placement exams, so you have full apportunity for placement. But placement is only depend on your performance. If you have good coding skills surely you got the placement.

You call directly contact to hostel office whether the hostel are available for 1st year. If not available you can reside outside in PG and rooms near mnit campus, like in malviya nagar c block, block, sector 1

It will not be possible in Acharya Bhavan but single seater can be possible in Gargi hostel . If you have to talk to the caretaker a little bit, then whatever your medical issue is, put it in front of the caretaker and tell it, it may be possible to getting single seater in Gargi Hostel.

Power System, its comes under Electrical Engineering department, there is placement happening on department wise so whatever your branch, is not matter. Btw for EE placement is good right now.

I am not the right person, I don't have experience regarding PSU, but I know in BARC interviews they usually asked to write Java pseudo code or Algorithm.

When PSU came to college like BEL , C.DOT they usually conduct exam objectives like gate and interview they asked theoretical questions from dbms, OS , Networking, Compiler, Algo etc.diffilties level same as gate exam, interview they had conducted in hindi.

It depends on your choice, some students usually think that they want to do masters. In the case of Mtech(NIT)- 8lpa is the lowest package (btech highest package in tier-3 college) So it is up to you what you want to do, if you want to struggle in corporate and get an increment. Or If you want as a student ,struggle in Nit college and get a decent package.
