BIG BIG Question... I have the insinkerator evolution cover control plus. No switch, You have to turn the cover to turn on the unit. Now after 2 years, I wish I got one with the switch. Will the air switch work on my unit ?? or can the cover control be removed.

Hey Andy. Question for you. If the button keeps getting stuck is it simple to just replace it? When looking at the box below my sing the cable that connects to the garbage disposal (bottom of the box) it wiggles and feels very loose. Not sure if that’s by design. The disposal works and starts but the button just keeps getting jammed and it’s a little scary lol

Obviously, it's not normal for the button to stick. It would probably be good to have it looked at by a professional to see if it can be serviced or if it needs to be replaced. If the disposer ever sticks in the on position, just unplug it to keep it from getting damaged from being overrun.

The installation steps are incorrectly repeated. He says 1st plug your garbage disposal into the under sink outlet. Then he says 2nd plug your garbage disposal into the insinkerator outlet. That’s not right.
