it's hard to let go but sometimes you just have to take that leap of faith. you have to let go to grow. for some reason, insomniacks produces songs that i can relate to at the moment. about 2 years ago, i was begging someone that i was contacting to come back into my life. every single time i listen to pulang, it reminds me of him. he's a simple good guy that was just figuring out life too just like me too. at one moment in time, the feelings between us were mutual but eventually, he lost feelings for me. its okay tho because that's life. took me 8 months to move on & then i started talking to this guy that then eventually become my partner. he was different. we were both different in so many ways yet we still try because we were in love. we want to make it work. it wasn't all great, we fought here and there but i guess he could no longer take it anymore. we're 11 months in our relationship & 2 days ago, he said he's lost feelings for me too & wanted a break between us :) i know it's just a break but sometimes its better to let go. and i came across reminisensi. oh god what are the odds right? i've realised that if someone wants to leave, you should just let them be. don't hurt yourself. heal for yourself. it's hard for me to let go, but i don't want to wait for something that is not certain. things will eventually get better, i hope :)

Writing this while half tired and half alive. People here shared their story of letting go well here's my tale, it's wasn't really about letting go but rather about ending the beautiful chapter properly (or so we thought haha) So the story starts with two souls that don't know any better about the world, one is too scared to get what she wants and the other is scarred and broken beyond repair. Funnily enough, who knew that those two souls could end up as a very very close company to one another. The girl grows to be more brave and more secure about what she wants and the boy learns that there is such a thing as forgiving yourself. Their hope is that the story can end just like in the movies to be happy ever after but the realm of reality kept them to understand more and more about the reality of love. From teenagers that are so attached to one another to adults that has to carry more weight into their life. One can be as free as much as he wants and the other must stay locked in a controlled environment no matter what. But the biggest burden of all is the distance to communicate their love. Countless "I love you" have been said, as much as countless "I miss you" countless laughter and also sadness. But god has another plan for the both of them as grew more older. Both of them realised they may have a same goals but different way of approaching it, at first the different ideology between them doesn't overcome the love. The thoughts of being right or wrong doesn't exist as forgive and fix is all they knew and what they implement, but there's the phrase to be perfect is with an imprefections. Sadly both doesn't agree with the thoughts of growing up differently and from there the crack starts to show. Long story short, the boy makes a decision from the heart to let her go to simply see her smile no hate no bad thoughts . Although tough for him as he simply letting go something he calls his "heart" it would kills him even more to see the once bright smile gone from her face just because she didn't know what else to fix. But through the means of prayer the boy always hoped for her happiness and well being no matter what. No matter who she with all he cares about is the pureness of the smile will come back to her. And as for the boy as he ready himself to close one of the most beautiful chapter of his life, he realised that he has more to achieve and more to show not just to himself but to the people who believes in him. The man that lives in expectation finally will not run away and break through every limit that he can. InsyaAllah one day!!
