Gutted Fiesta is basically an SUV as far as practicality goes tbh, I just moved from SD to the Bay Area and had that thing LOADED with so much stuff. Few things you should replace to try and slow down that oil leak: Valve cover gasket Cas O Ring(These are known to leak tons of oil on the back of the head and drip down) Front and rear main seal

I ordered a front main seal kit, and cam seal stuff. also doing the water pump while im at it

A couple spare tires on the rears will make that miata slide like a formula d car 😅 For the future and the Miata series, seeing you genuinely figure stuff out as you go is the appealing part to me. Doing stuff wrong is part of the journey

Yooo That little hose was most likely a vacuum line, that’s why idle was crap. And I hate plastic covers, I mean I know they help keep crap off the engine but you can never tell if your leaking anything. Try and follow the leak up. I think on older Miata’s it’s usually the valve (cam) cover and the front main seal. The cam angle sensor o-ring is another common leak. Could be valve cover or oil pan gasket too. Good luck brother!

Right when you started talking my son was like "heyyy that's your friend dad" 😂 ahah I've driven a miata a while back and what a fun little car. You have fiesta small but no one will understand miata small. I can't imagine how bad it is to fit.

People shouldn’t be worried about the lack of ST content. Watching videos of people mod their cars is still inspiring to get out and mod your own. I’ve been in a lull getting inspired to get my next ST parts and watching a series like this helps a lot … Just have to get around the wife somehow but that’s a different problem….
