Does not look like justice being done.I learnt many moral ,religious lessons from his novels. 'Perdah ' of Begum Jamshed was highlighted in his novels but the expected character portraying her seems opposite here.Similarly Farzana despite being a child needs modest dressing as per values given in his novels. Disappointing as they considered only adventure!

That is near impossible. Ibn e Safi and his family have made their intentions known that they don't want bad adaptations ruining the books. In 1974 when Ibn e Safi wrote a film called Dhamaka it was a flop. It was enough proof for him to completely withdraw permission for his books to ever be made in to shows or films. I love the Jasoosi Duniya books, but unless better level productions are made in Pakistan, or Ibn e Safi's family gives permission, they're never going to be seen on the small or big screen.

i just finished the books written by Syed Saleem Abbas the former ISI Agent. "Jasoos and Janbaz".....And i also recently watched the NETFLIX Series on Mossad Agent "ELI Cohen, The Spy. They made it very good. Please Share this Comment to the Producers of Pakistani Drama and Film Industries make a series on Syed Saleem Abbas our Legend Agent of I.S.I . How he done his job when he was undercover in INDIA. INDIA makes fake movies why why Cant we make a real movie or drama series. This will be a great hit, i Believe. Whole PAKISTAN and the Whole World will like it. and now a days and environment need this type of Drama series, will be so encouraging for the youth of PAKISTAN. I think Imran was much talented by this guy looked more like Imran for Inspector Jamshed that Islamic touch is much needed as it creates a whole lot of difference in writings of Ishtiaq Ahmed

Imran has some prominent features: - Young - Atheletic body - Lady Killer looks with stupid expressions - Expert in fighting - studied abroad so, his accent is foreign In my opinion all above features (except stupidity expressions) can be seen in Shehroz Sabzwari (son of Actor Behroz sabzwari). If he can perform stupidity acting as well then i think he is the most suitable one

Shame on you guys , no one from our literary and entertainment industry ever acknowledged him when he was alive, now using his work without permission for their own gains. he was the best detective story writer in the world, they didnt even translated his work in english. He would never have allowed this. He was agianst all unislamic things.( Music and intermingling of genders) I hope you dont remove the islamic culture he has shown in his novels and alter according to ur wishes! I was the biggest fan of Ishtiaque Ahmed sahab. Has almost read all the Inspector Jamshed series. As now this trend is getting popular, I would suggest that for the middle-aged audience, Imran series may also be worked out and filmed. Imran series by Ibne Safi and Mazhar kaleem are worth to be filmed. Hope any one would take initiative to produce such an excellent series.

Oh dear, I wish to see this becoming a top content on Netflix global. Couldn't wait. Should have all three parties, including Munawwer Ali Khan as an adevturist. I have spent my entire childhood reading Ishtiaq Ahmed. And I still do so when I get time. My two kids are still adescent but I will put them to reading our golden literature from Ishtiaq Ahmed when they are grown up enough. His books will never get old.

Jurab ka hangama was his best. Simple and pure detective stuff for the beginners. printed the pdf for my 10 yr old daughter. discussed the plot and who she thought was behind the mystery while she read. she enjoyed a lot.

So many novels of Ishtiaq Ahmed we would love to see converted into teleseries, Bachao, Kaali Aankh, Qatil (in which Abzaal was shown first time), Neelab Pull, Wadi-e-Marjaan, Robaal and so many more plus all Khaas Numbers especially of Jeeral, Abzaal, Salatar, Sea Moon such as Qilay k Qaidi, Jeeral Ka Mansooba, Malasha ka Zalzala, Aghwa Series, Baatil-e-Qayamat, Qayamat k Baaghi, Daairay ka Samandar, Sea Moon ki Waapsi, Jazeeray Ka Samandar etc etc
