I haven’t finished the whole thing yet but I would like to mention that I find people who “tell it like it is” mostly inspirational. There is a tendency for those types of people to make bold claims about things that they are wrong about but when somebody speaks a truth that is actually true, it inspires me to speak my truth. Not even sure what is really true anyway 🤷🏻♂️ It might not be a creatively inspiration but it is inspiring nonetheless.

One small thing I would add to all your data points is that often, motivation to do X gives you an angle on X-ing such that you feel good (or at least OK) about being a person who Xes. Motivational speeches tend to present X and its alternative in just the kind of light in which X-ing is the act that's more consistent with your values, and if not that, it's more consistent with the values that you might aspire to have. We want to be proud of being the sort of person who Xes for reason R, and motivational speeches can stir up that feeling.

How about an episode or two where you discuss goodness and beauty?😸
