I'm so glad I watched this. If this does not make you get up and go with camera in hand , think you might have the wrong hobby. Thank you so much.

Arthur is, in my opinion, simply one of the best. A national treasure. And it is sad that we so often only realize that when we don't have the chance to tell them so.

“The less you carry, the more pictures you take” - that’s a great lesson your shoulders will appreciate!

Great! That is exactly what fascinated me when I was starting taking pictures at about 16: The telephoto/zoom-photography of Jay Maikel, Pete Turner, Ernst Haas and later Meyerson. Clear colors, strong lines, reduced compositions! Now the latest fad is the Leica Monochrome... and many people think just using b/w makes their pictures artsy and interesting. Plus this single lens with 28mm... Come on, people, sometimes a zoom is so much better for good composition. Meyerson proves it.

Very inspirational Arthur! Thanks for imparting some of the things that have been most important to you in photography like training your eye to "see". That takes a lot of persistence to slow down and "see" what's happening in your sphere. Love that!

Yes! "The less you carry, the more pictures you take." I think you can replace the second clause with almost _any_ good result.

Ernst Haas, Pete Turner, Jay Makes - I could smell their photographic D.N.A. before he even mentioned them... Excellent shots nonetheless.

Should be "Jay Maisel" - my spell checker thinks it's William Shatner (aka William Shakespeare). :-)

Yea, his pictures are very similar to Jay Maisel's pictures. Love them both.
