A month and 3 months ago I broke my foot. It made me feel like my career was over... But I didn't stop trying. At hockey practice I did my best and played my heart out. And my first game back I had a goal and an assist. It proves to never stop trying. This video is amazing and inspires so many people! So to everyone who isnt inspired, dont stop trying, keep going even if it is hard!

I'm a 13 year old boy who has been always a hockey fan. I played hockey most of my life. I started ice hockey when i was 11. I made the worst team, team(7) and got 4 points, second year i was now 12 and got 15 points. i practiced rarely in the summer going into the next year. Now I'm 13 and i got 37 points in 30 games with the most goals on my team. I'm very small and short. I've been taking practicing seriously lately and playing my team(1) friends and beating them. My dream is to make the NHL.

If you can sit here and write down the workouts the players are doing so you can do them yourself, then you have a good chance at being successful. If you sit here and say you "can't" be successful, you aren't trying hard enough.

NHL must have much more than just 50 million fans around the world when in Canada alone live about 34 million. I definitely support the NHL, but, talking about my case as well as many of friends', they simply cannot know about our support since we aren't registered anywhere. I watch the games on a regular basis, I buy magazines, I own several jerseys, books and other pieces of merchandising, but they don't know about me nor about my friends. I

It's not about exercise. It's about success. You don't need to be fit to be successful. If your goal is to be a lawyer, you gotta just focus on being one.

I was suppose to Start Hockey in Grade 1. I am from Canada, my Dad was a Former Skier (Almost made the Olympic Team) But I guess I was Falling too much and got Mad so I dropped out. I got back into Hockey at 16 Years Old, now I am 19, I wished I didn't Drop out that Young. . .

That’s it! And when you get to the point where all you want to do is be successful as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful. Most of you say you want to be successful but you don’t want it bad, you just kind of want it. You don’t want it badder than you want to party. You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don’t want success as much as you want sleep. Some of you lost sleep more than you lost success. If you're going to be successful you have to be willin

Trust me its never too late. Never played once, started at 15 the summer of 2012 before high school. Now I'm playing Varsity high school hockey in my sophomore year. I never thought I would make it that far myself but i never stopped. There were moments where I wanted to quit so much but my friends helped me through that. One of my friends that helped me through may have committed suicide last week but I'm never going to quit and go as hard as I can for her. Its never too late man take it from me. If the most unpopular guy in middle school can turn it around in one summer I am positive you can too!

To those who think football is harder than hockey, you are wrong. I went from football season to hockey season and it is 10 times harder! Takes way more skill more practice more dedication more strength more cardio and more heart. Watch the NHL they make football look like cheer leading.

Hockey is the best sport there is its one of the most enduring nd hardest to! u take any other pro athelete from anyother sport nd put them on skates nd tell the to shot a puck 80% of the time they would just fall on there ass! u take a hockey player nd put him in football pads or hand him a baseball bat nd i GUARANTEE the could hit the fastball or score touchdown most people talk shit about hockey because truley they just wish they were athletic enough to even skate thats the truth!

I'm not a Hockey fan and I don't mean to offend anyone but I honestly feel that the fighting in Hockey takes the sport away. If I was a hockey player, I'd want people to come to my games to watch us play not to watch us fight. I don't know if that's how anyone else feels but that's just my personal opinion.
@69danglesnipecelly6911 жыл бұрын
well to me it seemed like you guys were talking about the professional aspect of golf. I can see the original comment the guy made so idk if he was talking about like PGA or just casual. If hes talking about casual golf then you are right. If hes talking like professional then i would be.

Try and read "Talent Is Overrated" by Geoff Colvinn. And as corny as it sounds, it is always wise, more productive - and yes - seriously - more satisfying to get better everyday. I don't aim for the stars straightaway. I know I want to be there. But before that, I know my limits. And tomorrow, I push them a bit more. That's how it works. And it keeps you grounded in reality, lets you see yourself develop yourself. Hope this helps.

I played the sport for a long, long time, had to quit because of an injury but I don't regret a minute of playing. I still revisit this video every once in a while because it's that good. I learned a thing or two after all those years so if you'll humor me, I got a couple words of advice for those aspiring to be better at the sport: 1. The team is the most important part of the game. Your teammates should be your ride or dies. No matter what, never fight with them, help them out whenever you can, and always have their back on the ice. The thing I look back on the most fondly was the team aspect of the game. 2. If you want to make it, start putting in the work when no one else is. Be the first one on and the last one off at practice. Put in the hours at home if you gotta practice your stickhandling or shooting. Do the cardio and the weightlifting. Don't just try hard when your ego is on the line or when you're trying to impress somebody. The only one you should be trying to impress is yourself. 3. Win and lose with dignity. You may get your ass kicked somedays but throwing a temper tantrum isn't helping anyone. If you beat someone that had it coming to them, don't rub it in, shake hands and leave. 4. Never trash talk the ref to his face. It doesn't matter if he made a bad call. Don't let your stupidity hurt the team. 5. If you ever get to a point when you're no longer having fun, it's time to reevaluate. Yes hockey is competitive, but the pressure shouldn't be so much that you aren't enjoying the game anymore. Remember why you started playing in the first place. If you're not playing with passion, you might as well not play at all. 6. Pass the puck to an open teammate. I don't care if you think you can deke your way through the entire defense, a goal is a goal. Plus, I always thought assists were just as important. 7. Despite what some might say, your goalie is your most important player. Treat him like it. 8. Learn how to check and how to take a check as soon as you can.
