Another tear-jerking and brilliant podcast..JOC and BOS, is my village bringing me up, because I didn't know i was already doing or not doing so many things like seva of listening and offering compassion and empathy without even thining about it..A while back I thought seva was going to the gurudwara, washing the dishes and doing what needs to be done at the Gurudwara only..These podcasts are so valuable and educational, but soothing to learn that when you know you're trying and not giving up, your relentlessness is being noted by Waheguru..the seed that was planted for me, is now blossoming...I said to myself that i don't have sangat like you do, but I do and it's BOS and the contemplation sessions so thank you for creating this space for us, it's beyond words as to what it means to sangat like me..forgive me for saying anything wrong or in the wrong way, first time I've said this and humbles me and keeps me grounded 🙏 Gurmeet ji's demeanour comes across very calm and magnetic, was nice hearing his experience, was very relatable in so many ways...it answered a lot of questions for me..I was just thinking how lucky is he to have such a sacred name and I don't even have that..then Veerji said, go and take a hukamanama to attain one...and that just left me in awe, Waheguru spoke to me again in an instant... 🙏 I really liked the explanation about work and made me think about it being seva due to this podcast, because I've spoken to many people in distress and offered them support, even with my job being the opposite, and now it all makes sense why these calls were and are directed towards me out of my department...thank you Waheguru again 🙏 This podcast was wonderful and emotional, feel very blessed to be part of your journey too 🙏

Lot of Sikhs who don’t keep their kesh are said some harsh things and treated differently when Maharaj teaches us to see Waheguru in all! May we all see each other only with eyes filled with love and compassion 😢🙏 More of these reflections pls as this is the reality … 🙏

Veerji your journey is so inspirational. We as humans play our roles as chosen by Maharaj. Maharaj works through your hands. The outcome is irrelevant to you - it sounds harsh but Maharaj’s hukam is hukam - only we view it as positive/negative because we are unable to see God’s plan. You are blessed and a blessing to our community.

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ Before I answer this question, I want to make one point clear ji. We do not have to worship waheguru ji, but if you want to escape the cycle, that is a step you must take. To answer your question ji, this cycle of life and death is a test or a game that our souls have chosen to participate in. The way to win the game is to love waheguru ji. Guru ji does not have ego, he has love for us. By chanting naam we are showing how much we love him. My point is that you do not have to jap naam, but it is to show that you love guru ji. I consider myself a Sehajdhari but I’ve only been so for a short while. I grew up never even knowing what Sikhi was but I’ve always had the beliefs without being taught. I feel as though Sikhi found me. So bear with me, this is based on little knowledge. But my interpretation is that there is no “have to.” In fact “have to” implies that it is our choice and our duty. But everything is hukam. Gurbani says there is no other Will but God’s. This means that everything that happens is exactly how it’s supposed to happen. Gurbani even says that it is up to God whether we realize our Oneness with Him. There is no free will. We can only worship him is his calls us to Him. Because of that I don’t really see reincarnation as a punishment. I see it as not being ready. Because we can only do bad if it’s in his will for us to. I think reincarnation is how God prepares our soul. God is pure. The part of our soul that is God is pure. But the worldly parts of us are not. I feel like it’s God’s way of cleaning your pet’s feet before they come inside. Their feet aren’t dirty through any fault of their own. It’s not their fault the outdoors are just inherently dirty. Maybe they “chose” to walk in mud. But if you’re walking them on a leash, you let them do that. But your pet doesn’t know you did that for them. Your pet doesn’t know that you were being selfless. You wanted it to enjoy the walk. But you still have to clean its feet. And it’s going to squirm and hate you for it. But the pet doesn’t understand the home that it loves so much wouldn’t be enjoyable if it was as filthy as the outside. God is us and we are the pet. Reincarnation is getting our feet washed and the house is being united with God. Maya is the dirt.
