The Garden Village in Bled is such an incredible place! The owner decided that alongside the amazing glamping tents and treehouses there should be an abundance of food. And that these plants not only produce delicious food, but also have aesthetic qualities to them. It is such a fantastic idea and it is a great way of sharing knowledge with visitors. There are so many cases where it is the first time people have seen apples growing on trees etc and is such a wonderful demonstration of linking permaculture with a hugely popular business. Man, this is sooo enlightened. Great idea for a health resort. This guy is very wise in recognizing the benefits of growing your own, is not only superior nutrition, but life balance via the destressing associated with working with plants. It forces you to slow down and nurture, be patient, and caring. You get a new respect for life and the life cycle. You realize good food is not fast food. I love everything about this.

Wonderful video. Slovenia was never on my radar as a place I’d like to visit, but now I’ll have to go! The info about companion planting was particularly interesting. I will have to try that in my own little garden.

Hu, some 6 odd years ago you oosted a video on starting apples from seed- how did that turn out? I know you said most would be used as rootstock, but did any grow up and bear fruit and was it true to type? How did the fruit vary from type? Thanks, curious

Btw one of the reasons why the bees love this particular rose is because it has an open flower with easy access to the sweet pollen/nectar :)

People have always had issues with crocs for some reason. I used to wear them around my uncle when I was helping with the horses. He would say "why do you wear those Man-gina slippers" All I would say is that they are squishy so they help my lower back pain and that they are waterproof. Nuff said

And how many languages do YOU speak fluently Sohayle?? It's always the ugliest, most ignorant, hopelessly lonely people that are the most judgemental.
