Inspirations from the revelation | Lesson 6 | Allah is Near! | Abu Bakr Zoud

Tafseer of the following aayah from Surat Al-Baqaah (186):
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌۖ أُجِيبُ دَعۡوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِۖ فَلۡيَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلۡيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡشُدُونَ
«And when My slaves ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided»

Thank you sheykh.Sura 2:186 of the Qur'an about the nearness of Allah is my favourite aya. I confirm that Allah hears you even if you call upon Him deep in your heart and no one else on earth hears you. Concerning the title of being a slave, Allah also refers to Musa a.s. as a 'servant' in the Torah, Numbers 12: 6-7-8- "Listen to my words: when there's a prophet among you I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of my 'servant' Musa; ... With him I (the Lord) speak face to face ..." Allah, even when distinguishing Musa a.s. in this particular situation and protecting him against aggression and animosity, refers to Musa a.s as His servant. Similarly Allah says in the Holy Qur'an 4:164 "... and to Moses Allah spoke directly".

As salaamu alaikum my dear sister Fatima. Yes it is a great reward to offer 2 rakat after every wudu. (If you are able) This came from the brother Bilal who was close to the prophet Muhammad (saw) lovely Hadith. Bilal was the one who called the Adhan. Allahu Akbar.
