@skr_electronics_lab, I tried the project with exact same components. I used IR receiver (black). If I dont connect the motor, LED glows on detecting the fire. But as soon as I connect the motor, it doesnt work, even the LED doesnt glow. Can you please help?

Use a transistor to amplify the signal from ir reciever and a thyristor to maintain the current flow through the water pump even when the initial signal is no longer present. In any way, this circuit is quite unreliable and should not be used for any kind of an actual fire extinguisher
