How do you unlock your creativity when you need some inspiration?

Usually nature walks, discovering new Parks, drive around new neighborhoods. Living in New Jersey I love going to the waterfront to look at the NYC Skyline while purposely looking for Construction Cranes. This represents new development and opportunity to build something amazing or some adventure to set out upon. And interestingly, that there is ALWAYS money out there to be made as a Freelancer or Business Owner. You just have to go find it and go and GET it!

Also, I think the waterfront in New Jersey is absolutely beautiful. Sometimes I will take my dogs to Edgewater just to go for a walk when we need to get out!

Thank you so much Chris! I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour of DUMBO, even if it’s more from a visual standpoint vs design. I’ve found that doing walks like this has been really helping me get inspired for the creative work when I need to get away from the computer and get some fresh air. That seems to be when some of the best ideas come! Also I’ve got a few more of these in the works, so stay tuned! 😊💡🙏

I had such a great time in DUMBO, and sometimes it's easy for me to forget that when I need inspiration I don't have to look very far. It's such a cool part of Brooklyn, and I'm excited to explore more neighborhoods like this. I think the chorizo bagel was just an added bonus after seeing so much cool art. If you ever get the chance to check out La Bagel Delight it really hits the spot! 😁

Yes! I actually use a Chrome extension called Muzli for more general inspiration, but if I am looking for inspiration that is more geared to movie posters or branding I will frequent sites like IMP Awards, Behance, and Pinterest.
