The situation appears to have parallels with the Poole incident, although it is not as serious. It seems that they chose to downplay and ignore what happened, without addressing any consequences. While Steve Kerr cannot be solely blamed, it is evident that some NBA players may struggle to engage in mature discussions to resolve such situations. Perhaps Kerr could have taken a more proactive approach by addressing the issue directly with all parties involved rather than disregarding it.

KD cried and should have addressed the whole situation like a man. Shoulda said his peace with Draymond if it wasnt the argument (liar) Shoulda spoke to management about Draymond if it was really that serious. (It was, to him) Draymond, the role-player, said a cold hard truth. The Warriors were capable of winning without him. KD, the superstar, got in his feelings. Really? It wasn't the argument. Draymond was disciplined, for those exact actions. He was suspended. What else was KD expecting management to do to Draymond? Fine him, jail him, kick him off the team, public apology what else was he looking for? If you believe it was management you're a fool. It was clearly KDs feelings were hurt, and he wanted to prove a point. Somebody should have told that fool he aint Kobe

I DO give them props for still talking this through. - I have to say, though- KD JUST SAID that COMMUNICATION is the key. What he said made sense. But, in hind sight, KD, listen to yourself , and take your own advice. if communication is so important (which it is) ,then the best thing would’ve been for you to communicate! - To TALK to Steve Kerr, and explain how you felt - and that you felt he had made a big mistake. Steve at the core is a great person I believe, and I truly think he would’ve listened to you. I think he would’ve admitted his mistake and called everyone to the table to talk about it, as you described. It could’ve healed the group, and Steve would’ve learned a valuable lesson. -As probably you and Draymond would’ve as well. It IS about communication, as you wisely brought out, and that means communication on ALL fronts, no matter how difficult it iS. …But things happen for a reason, and while you were golden with the Warriors-all loving the game and playing the right way - I think you have a different path now. I do hope you find even more success, and that you and all the rest of your Warrior brothers will stay brothers for the duration!! Mutual respect and love!

The core of Steph, Klay and Draymond, were all drafted and developed by the warriors and were home-grown superstars and as good as KD is, he joined the warriors through free agency while he was in his prime so he was never developed there like the others and could never have that same chemistry that Curry, Thomson, and Green have. even guys like Andre Iguadala, Shaun Livingstan, and Andrew Bogut, had been there long enough to the point where they felt like they fit in.

Do many egos, it shows that even with a great organization that picks players with good characters there still can be problems. Draymond does seem to be involved in every one somehow. His personality cannot seem to stop him from doing so.

Why is it hard to understand he was saying he could move past it but the vibe was broken and it wasn’t his job to fix it, especially coming in late to the team. Why wouldn’t you feel outcasted. They left shit unsaid and expected him to move on. The teams moral is definitely coaches job.

Dray ego is affecting the team. He feels nobody can put a cap on his attitude on court. I admire his brilliance and willingness to win but you don’t create a distraction to a team focus with avoidable sagas. Heaven will not fall if he had kept quiet and talked with KD or JP off camera like a real OG

sneakerslegacy- Draymond talked to EACH of them - privately AND in public, taking FULL responsibility for his acting out, not ever mentioning the other guys' part in it. Not once. He has never shirked his responsibility. He's very honest - he knows that he has a bad problem with a short fuse, and has pledged to work hard on it. Evidence? He gets way less tecs than he used to. (We don't see his private life.) -And also, Jordan Poole rode him for DAYS - in personal areas - before he lost it. Bad that he lost it, but he's not perfect yet. He apologized to Jordan, his family and friends, Warriors fans, the team, taking FULL responsibility, and never mentioned that he'd been antagonized by Jordan. Never. Pray for him! He's a good guy.

KD criticizing the leadership while providing zero of his own. You couldn’t have called a players only meeting and gotten it all out there like you said? Always thought this was a lame take from both of them, it’s a conflict between the two of you and as grown men you failed to resolve it, don’t shift the blame on the coach after the fact because you couldn’t face the music.

Draymond protects the locker room for the warriors by ridding those who think they’re more important than they are. He humbles them. Might be extreme in his approach but it works. Got rid of KD and they won again. Poole will be humbled quick in Washington.
