Enjoy authentic Bajan food at Granny’s Restaurant in Oistins Christ Church. Here you will find a variety of Barbadian and Caribbean Cuisine at affordable prices. This is the place to get the very popular cou-cou and flying fish, Macaroni pie and baked pork, Green peas and rice with some curried lamb…. Yummmm. Each day of the week they serve a different selection of food, making it possible to try as many options as you would like and to your liking. Served Fresh and tasty.
To find Granny's, one makes the left turn into the car park just after KFC and Granny’s is at the back, cosily set away from the bustle of the main road, but not far enough to be a deterrent to the average customer. Open Monday to Saturday every week from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm, it remains open even during the hustle and bustle of Oistins on a Friday night. The main reason for this is that no matter what activity is taking place; loyal patrons will seek out the food at Granny's.
Legendary Fish Cakes
A fishcake is a culinary dish consisting of salted fish mixed with flour, fresh herbs and hot peppers then fried until golden. Fishcakes have a crispy outside with a perfectly soft and fluffy inside, balanced by the taste of the saltfish with the perfect amount of spice.
Legendary Fish Cakes is a well known street side stall located at several spots along the south coast. As the name states these fish cakes are legendary on the island and is a must try when in barbados.

Lisa's Doubles is a roadside stall that sells doubles and Rotis on worthing main road south coast of Barbados. Doubles is a popular trinidaian street food a favourite of both locals and tourist.
Doubles is a snack-sized sandwich made of two flatbreads known as bara and filled with a curried chickpeas also called channa, as it's known in Trinidad and India with pickled cucumber and dressed with either tamarind or mango sauce.
One of the most appealing factor besides the taste is the price, with just $3.50 BDS you can enjoy this yummy treat.

Bajan Cuisine in Black Rock is here at Yelluh Meat, you'll experience delicious Bajan cuisine in a unique way. Their dishes are served in roasted breasdfruit bowls. Breadfruit despite having the name fruit is considered as a starch and is seldom eaten raw. It may be roasted, baked, boiled, fried, or dried and ground into flour. The name Yelluh Meat comes from a type of breadfruit found in Barbados that is said to be sweeter than the white meat breadfruit. At yelluh meat their mouth-watering dishes are carefully prepared with fresh ingredients using traditional techniques.

Granny's definitely has that home cooked vibe and Legendary Fishcakes might as well be called Perfect Fishcakes for me, best I've ever had from any establishment!, they should have em by the sack at the airport to take back the way they used to have the frozen packs of Flying Fish! As for that Hot Honey Pizza, I'm adding that to my list, looks like a must do for sure!

I got food poisoning eating street food was sick for 3 days ruined my vacation please warn viewers if food isnt kept safe especially in barbados heat you can really get sick no more street food for me yuck

@@BajanLifestyles I’m sure but being Caribbean heat probably a lot easier if their food isn’t kept cold I got sick from lady sells the gap burgers at st Lawrence gap that was always late night treat after going to clubs it was either the burger or the ketchup used on the chips anyways haven’t eaten there since just warning others if food isn’t kept cold or prepared properly could ruin your trip I was sick almost half my trip :(
