One easy thing you could do to enhance your classroom for free is adding natural elements, like in the video. Stuff like pinecones, log "coins", plants, shells, etc (and maybe a box of some sand or water) Are all very interesting to kids and you can also decorate with them to make your classroom prettier. Too many young childrens' classrooms are completely void of natural elements, not to mention the color scheme is not very tasteful, in contrast to the rooms in this video :) Pops of color!

Beautiful classroom spaces. I wonder how I could use the ideas in a smallish rectangular room with little to no money though.

This video was great. It showed things would make a young child want to learn. It mentioned having things in the class like nature such as plants, logs, etc. things that young children would be interested in. What child doesn't like those kind of things.

I have pinched this book from the staff room at work and I am constantly using it as my reference for my class. The ideas are amazing- love it!

I saw a couple of experienced interior designers form the US saying how neutral colours are best for decor as then you can add as she said 'pops' or splashes of colour to generate interest. It also makes it more affordable to do a makeover as you can easily change colour schemes of soft furnishings, cushions, rugs, toys, without having to repaint walls.

Please fix the closed caption so I can use it in my online college class. ;) Great video!

I like the idea of neutral backgrounds with pops of color. I think a lot of other spaces I’ve seen can overstimulate the child and the adults.
