Brother, I "met" you at the rainbow (we only briefly spoke), I remember you, the closing night of the observatory playing with your magical instrument. What a wonderful night and I love that youtube recommended you to me ❤

Are you able to play the south Asian Santoor as well ?
@inspiritana19 күн бұрын
You mean the Indian Santoor? Well, yes, I have tried it in the past, but it's very different in tuning, hammers, sound, feeling... So definitely I couldn't play it well without proper practice ;)
@MrEast90018 күн бұрын
@ your sitting style is also more relaxed than that of the jndian Santoor player which adheres to a strict initially very uncomfortable posture. Did you learn this art in a Persian conservatory or what is the trajectory to achieving this skill level ?
@inspiritana16 күн бұрын
I learned all myself by self-study :)
@MrEast90016 күн бұрын
@ That’s incredible. Where did you buy the instrument and can you list your self study resources?
@inspiritana15 күн бұрын
I got it shipped from Iran. My answer to your second question might be unconventional to you: There is no resource outside myself. I just sat down with the instrument and kept trying out whatever was possible. I have met four different Santoor players in all these years and we did exchange some knowledge, but apart from that it just came out of my own inspiration. No book, no video, no teacher... Just my own inner creativity and the connection to the universe pouring down into this magical instrument.
