I own dorper sheep here in Texas. It's hot but they dont mind. Just keep em watered and give em a lil shell corn every other day to tame em. Once you tame em worm em. It's an oral injection so bring up corn and you can catch em. They adapt well to the heat down here. Rub their own wool off. And a great meat sheep

Hey Henry, we kept the season live for a few months between seasons on TV. Once Season 5 premiered on INSP in early January, the episodes went dark. It is interesting to note Bubba's cattle are often in better condition than his horses. His horses invariably have 'poverty lines' (lack of correct muscle) on their hind ends. They do not have a great shine on them either and never seem to 'bloom' with good vitality. They all seem such small horses for such a large rider. I also noticed on one episode how he pulled the saddle blanket forward after putting it on. Have never known a good horse person to do such a thing. Perhaps "cowboys" are different?

Cowboys are good horse 0eople we see the same things you do in this show, I don't know where these guys come from probably farmboys that started off trail riding or something like that, I think it's filmed in south Al. Maybe they can find Mercer cattle Co. Or Reynolds just south of the line and get some lessons from some hands, they way better than those champions from Texas were they take 6 or 8 people to go catch 1 or 2 bulls, hell y'all probably chase on pickups two

Sweet tea ... a man after my own taste buds, although it has long been removed from my diet. "Something's always tore up." Seems to be the case no matter what you're growing in ranching and farming. You don't get to clock out at five o'clock everyday, but you get to ride and rope and be outside and be your own boss ... got any idea what that's worth to someone who spent 19 years in an 8X8X8 foot office for 19 years and then got run off by evil people who were eventually themselves, run off and rightly so?

I wouldn't start a tractor while standing next to it on the ground. We had a local farmer that did that and the tractor rolled forward and ran over him. By some miracle, or the grace of God, he survived. He says it is a mistake that he will never make twice.
