@@startingtech3900 Valve stem seals are the most common and it’s $5k+ job and all of these cars will need to be done eventually it’s a defect from factory. Everything you can think of plus shit you never heard of will need to be replaced. I’ve spent around 8k so far on repairs done are. Oil cooler, valley pan gasket, oil pan gasket, transmission gasket, trans oil cooler line, alternator seal, new battery every 3yrs, heater exchange valve, that’s what I can think of rn without looking at all the receipts. Trust me buying a used BMW without a warranty be prepared to spend atleast 2k a year on repairs. Plus I get about 350km to a tank of 94 octane gas and it’s $110 to fill

@@RawwKicks I have a used bmw. 07 BMW 335i it’s actually been super reliable. I had to change the water pump/therm myself and coolant tank bc the guy shaded me and he sold me an overheating bmw but then 3 months later one of the vaccum lines from the waste gate burned up but the shop only charged me 300$ with labor and parts to get it fixed/smoke check. Sounds like I should keep my 335i. And this bmw just had a used trans w 75k put in it bc the old one blew. Dude said he did a bunch of service like valve cover etc. but. No mention of valve stem seals etc. it’s 6k. Carbon black on black m sport. W the body kit/m5 lights 19 inch m sports. It’s a really nice bmw. Should I check it out at least

Did it throw a code when you had to replace the coolant expansion tank?

All the coolant was on the ground when I got out to my car from the mall. There was a low coolant warning so I filled with water and made it home to do the replace the tank and refill it.

No. Most expensive thing has been replacing the battery. Ive owned for almost a year now
