Insta360 App Pain Points - Show & Tell

I just got the Flow Pro and installed the app but I highly doubt I’ll ever use it. I have my action button during the focus mode set to open Blackmagic. I just need either the MagSafe adapter for I can use my external storage or a usb c nvme enclosure with a male C connector. That way I can record the footage and transfer it to my iPad or laptop easier.

Nice video .. is the footage shot with the insta360 app or blackmagic using DockKit? I want to track horses in h265 😂

The horse tracking comment was gold! Thanks for the laugh. The clips for that video were shot using the Blackmagic Camera app. However, I haven’t been able to get tracking to work with the BMC app. I think tracking in the BMC app won’t be available until IOS 18 is available for public use. I’ve been dying to track horses too! 😅

@@MDLG1122 I will keep you posted after I shot my horse footage. I guess it could turn out nice with ProRes 4K 60 fps Did you use iOS 18 beta?

I was all about modding when I was on Android. But, on IOS, I’m waiting for the public release. Are you living on the edge with that beta life?

@@MDLG1122 normally no, but I have read on some apple dev site that DockKit recognizes animals in the iOs 18 update .. so I was curious about that when I am about to test and compare that feature with the tracking of insta360 .. my main goal is to shoot a horse dressage (which will be great in ProRes log in the insta360 app I guess)
