Great video, but I was confused as to why you didn't use the hyperlapse mode (Timeshift) as that's what it's for. It still looks excellent though! I've always used Timeshift, and used Timelapse for stationary shots, but I might try Timelapse to see if that makes any difference.
@BN992393 жыл бұрын
Timeshift is the exact same as Pro Video mode, only that it speeds up the video automatically via AI. You can just record in Pro Video and in post editing speed up the video to your liking. Timelapse actually takes a picture every .5 seconds (if that is what you set the interval to), which then gets stitched together when you are done recording. If you are doing a hyperlapse, a frame every .5 seconds is fine once sped up and may actually let you record longer, since you're not recording 50 frames per second for 30 minutes straight for example. A use case for this is if I'm on a bike ride and want to record for 2 hours, I can do a timelapse set to .5 seconds and have enough space in the camera for 2 hours worth of "recording".

that looks good, but would this not be more easier to do with the Insta R or One X2? If you have chosen an object and want to film it then you also need to run backwards, right? :D with the 360 cam this would not be an issue

Great suggestion. i wonder if the cap mount would also be good for this so you can rotate the camera (turning the cap to focus on another object) but keep walking straight....I imagined you walking backwards for 5 mins to get some of these shots lol

For best grip, mount the camera to the neck pendant on the side which has an outline of the camera on it. I think you were using it the wrong way round. Anyway, good tutorial, but perhaps the firmware has changed since you made it.

@gimbalguru3603 жыл бұрын
In the "Pro Video" mode you need the Smartphone App or Insta360 Studio to export the final video. But there is also a "standard video" mode, where you get a final video which you can use (already stabilized)
@Ozpeter3 жыл бұрын
@@gimbalguru360 But not with horizon levelling. The plain video mode is best for shots where the camera is mounted on a fixed object, and it can work best in low light.

Timeplapse doesn't work properly: If I set the interval to 1 second then the recording ist one minute and nine seconds. If I set the interval to 30 seconds the recorded length is only two seconds. I can't figure out what is wrong. Do you have any ideas?

1 minute 9 seconds with 1 shot every 1 second is 69 frames. The resulting video is set at 30fps, 69 frames is about 2 second of timelapse footage
