Create 2 layers 1 with the subject and the second with the background then you can blur the background layer in post

still confused about the loop function. why does it have a timer if it still continues to record? I might have to just experiment with is.

The timer in the loop function of the Insta360 GO 3s sets the duration of the recording cycle. Once the timer reaches zero, the oldest footage in the cycle is overwritten to make room for new footage. This allows for continuous recording without filling up the storage space. For example, if you set the loop timer to 5 minutes, the camera will record for 5 minutes, then delete the oldest 5 minutes of footage and start recording again. This process repeats indefinitely until you manually stop the recording or turn off the camera. This feature is useful for capturing long events or activities where you don't know exactly when the important moments will happen. By setting a long loop duration, you can ensure that you don't miss anything. Here are some tips for using the loop function effectively: * Choose an appropriate loop duration based on your recording needs. If you're recording a short event, a shorter loop duration is sufficient. If you're recording a longer event, a longer loop duration is recommended. * Consider the storage capacity of your camera. If you have a large storage capacity, you can set a longer loop duration. If you have a smaller storage capacity, you may need to set a shorter loop duration. * Be aware that the oldest footage in the cycle will be deleted when the timer reaches zero. If you want to save specific moments, you can manually stop the recording or transfer the footage to your phone or computer. I hope this helps!

Hi, I know that this is a downside of this camera, that you cannot couple it with an external microphone. The next version might solve this problem. Otherwise you've seen a microphone test in this tutorial. Daniel

25 minutes of "beginner's guide", doesn''t show the basic use case of this device. How do you start/stop recording without the base ("Action Pod")? This is not meant to be on a tripod with the base, how do you start recording when camera is mounted on your hat or on the chest unit? For christ's sake..
