Its a f*ckin SHAME that in 2024 we still do not have a quality cam such as this with 4K 60FPS. Worse, it doesn't even have the sensors for Windows Hello. I bought it with high expectations, but i'm seriously reconsidering my decision whether it was worth anything. This is no better than a webcam with 100 bucks. Harsh criticism, but harsh reality.

9:17 Am I just the only one who thought the Link 2C Shouldn't have gotten the point there? The only reason I can see is just that he didn't have to click scan, just the whiteboard button, but he did have to readjust the camera to look at the whiteboard.

you could use pause area to set up a separate area in a room with a whiteboard. Just walk over to it, have it zoom in and frame the whiteboard while you use it. Then when its done you can just walk back to your chair, it keeps tracking you and done. Kinda cool camera

good camera, good motors, but uses a fairly cheap module (like most 360 products) (your paying for the motors and software more then the MegaPixel)

Not possible, there is no micro-SD card inside the webcam.

A. Is there any limit on how long it can record for? B. So 24 hours a day, seven days a week? C. Can multiple cameras be controlled on their own local private wired/wireless network? Or D. Does it have to be connected to the Cloud to work? E. Is the Zoom digtal or Optical? F. How far can this Zoom? G. If I get several of them could I use say a Serve The Home Mini PC's with a powerful graphics card to record multiple steams? H. Can it also be attached to or controlled by home assistant? I. Apparently the Link 2 only supports Windows and Mac. But it supports Android which is built on Linux? And other Insta360 products support Linux? So: Why the Exclusion? Or is Linux support coming? J. I am assuming the sensor is made by Sony? How well does this intercut with other Sony Color Science products such as the A7V or Sony Xperia? Thanks

Hah, True. But I think anyone interested in such great image quality, is discerning enough to use a microphone. (That's how Elgato Facecam approached the issue.) I see the built-in mic as more of a back-up mic, or for travel.
