Insta360 One R Twin Edition- Unboxing and Beginner's Guide

I bought this twin edition and after putting everything together I found out that there was a gap between the battery and the unit was so confused tried to watch KZbin and googled but there was no much info about this. And then I saw your video and was so relief.... thanks mate. Definitely going to subscribe to your channel.....🤙

Thanks for the sub. They say that the gap is normal, and the weather seals should work. But I didn't trust it.

I like that GoPro stick/tripod. Will it be invisible in the videos like the Insta360 one?

If you use a small screw at the base, I'm pretty sure it wont show up. The standard screw shows a little. The tripod legs will show it it's on the ground. Just be sure to buy it somewhere that you can return it. Also, make sure the camera is straight up and in line with the extension.

Not sure what you mean by battery backup? The battery life is decent. It's a great camera for video, but not my first choice for audio quality.

I sold mine within weeks of buying it. The wind noise reduction was really bad. It may have improved since, but not sure. I am currently using the gopro hero 8 black with the Gopro Rollcage. Did a review of it awhile ago. It works pretty well on my mtb bike.

I have used a couple other cameras, but always come back to Gopro. They have their glitches, but all cameras do. I usually buy them at bestbuy and get the warranty.

Is the camera supposed to be running that hot when it's on and your using it? Also, is your GOPRO Selfie stick invisible like the Insta360 Selfie Stick is? Thanks

The camera does get warm. Not that bad. Most selfie sticks will work. They just have to be long enough.

The Gopro stick will be invisible. You just need to make sure whichever stick you use, the camera is in line with the stick. If there is any bend, the stick will appear. Thanks for ths sub.

I made a couple of videos about this camera. I was very happy with the video quality and features. I was not happy about the audio. The audio was terrible. I don't know if there have been any updates. Please watch the other vids I made. I would not recommend this camera. I think the Gopro Max is much better.

Do not buy Insta360 One R BEFORE checking out ALL the fogging issues! I brought one and got the fogging issue straight away, then found out many more users are getting the same issue. Personally I would stay right away, but the choice is yours! BTW the sealed bag and supplied silica sachets DID NOT WORK FOR ME! Camera has been returned! PS, what annoys me is, every youtube reviewer raves about the insta360 One R but NONE say about the fogging issue which is plaguing the product!

I didn't have any of the fogging issues. I have already returned the camera. My biggest problem was the audio. It could be a great system, just too many drawbacks. Thanks

This is not a first time video. Mine turns on and ask for language and it is doing that every time. I need to find a video of an actual 1st timer

Maybe connect your phone to the camera through the app. I'm sure there is a setting to lock that in.
