Active HDR is terrible for fast moving scenes like on a bike or motorcycle. I am disappointed. The footage is grainy and overexposed.

Great video, bought a x3 to get different views when I film my KZbin videos. Only took 2 weeks to crack one lins, so I'm glad that I use sticky lens guard, so I only need to replace sticky lens guard with a new!. X3 is not that durable as GoPro Hero but the views is a great as a complement to my GoPros.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm a total newbie about this and just got my x3. First experience wasn't great mainly due to indoor shooting(noise, colour and sharpness). Will try practicing outdoors during weekend later before going skiing in turkey end of this year. Hopefully can get nice video.
