I'm totally fascinated by how coordinated such a marketing campaign unfolds. I experienced it for the first time today. To the second, all the well-known KZbinrs release their videos about the X4. It's pretty crazy.

Not that crazy . They send new cameras to popular KZbinrs to test out for weeks sometimes. There is an embargo so you can’t post anything about until the company says so. Everybody uploads the video and makes it public ones the embargo is up .

I literally sold my X3 specifically to buy a new x4. But I don’t like it; the quality is terrible in dark places. I think I'll take the Osmo Pocket unfortunately. The iPhone takes better pictures than this x4. UNFORTUNATELY!

Buyer beware on all these videos - this is KZbinr influencer at its HIGHEST - the embargo has lifted - there are 50 videos out there about this "ACTION CAMERA" - and what NONE OF THEM TELL YOU - is that these lenses are DELICATE - like you WILL SCRATCH the lens in snow - or on a bike trail - or a dropping it on a table - and then - it will cost (at least it did on previous models) $99 to fix it - or all your footage will have a smudge from the scratch. Also - you have to write an email to them explaining it - then wait 4 weeks for a reply - then fill out a form and pay the $99 plus shipping - to CHINA - then - wait another 4 weeks - until you get our camera back.....ALL of these videos got a FREE camera - and then went snowboarding - and if they had to pay $500 for the camera - then another $99 if they dropped it in the snow - which WILL scratch it - they would not use it. The lens guards dont work - in fact I had one scratch my actual lens when the camera hit the ground while not even snowboarding - SLEDDING on a bunny hill! BUYER BEWARE! These are just commercials for free cameras given to influencers.

26 - The cost of a repair lens is $99 since it WILL SCRATCH if you touch it on ANYTHING 27 - $99 was the cost of the repair for the X2 - so its probably much more expensive now! 28 - The turnaround time to get the lens repair is over 8+ weeks if they get back to you in a timely fashion (which they won't) 29 - The lens guards severely degrade the footage and effect the stitch - hence why no finluencer actually shows using them - so again back to no 26 - you will SCRATCH THE LENSES! I can keep going if you like - I have spent over $700 on ONE of these cameras and had to go through the repair process 3 TIMES - I finally GAVE UP ON USING THEM! Stop LYING to people and calling these things action cameras - they are just as fragile and there fore - not as versatile as they claim - as any other camera - even more so with these lenses!

Brilliant Video Brandon, was great to see how it can actually be used as a VLOG camera and almost as a drone replacement in some scenarios to get that arial shot. Im defo buying one of these!! Does anyone know if a USB C mic can be plugged into one?

How's the low light performance? Is the RS One a better choice for low light? X4 has a wider Aperture, I wonder if that will make a difference vs the one inch sensor. Amazing footage as always!

X4 in my opinion. You can use single lens mode for a gopro - type usage. Use lens guards for rough shoots.

In bright light with not too much motion, you will be able to remove most distortion and use a narrower field of view. Just depends on the shot.

You won’t want to use it in very low light unless you’re doing timelapse (which is 11k). The sunset shots I did in this video are the lowest light I would recommend using it for.

Overall, X4. X4 is better for bright light, action, underwater, slow motion. Has less stitching issues. 1 inch is a bit better for lower light.

If they improve the low light like the Dji pocket 3 then I’m in but if still suffers in low light probably the X5 or X6 is my next 360..

It’s a matter of physics I think…to keep the camera small, the sensor and lenses can’t get bigger. So there’s limits to how good the lowlight can be. Probably we will need to wait for an upgrade to the 1” 360 camera to get better low light.

I have the X3 360, used it on the first snorkeling trip with the whale sharks. A couple of weeks ago in the Maldives and the bloody thing leaked water and now it's completely dead. Rubined the whole rest of getting video for any of the trip including with the sharks come in the turtles, several scuba dives etc. I think it's a piece of crap.

A lot of the invisible selfie stick stitching depends on the bend in the stick. If the stick stays perfectly straight, you’ll get very good erasure.
