You can boost posts directly from Instagram, but you also lose a lot of capabilities like being able to target custom and lookalike audiences, retargeting, dynamic creative, and other strategies available within FB Ads Manager that would drive a higher ROI.

Awesome video - things have shifted and changed a bit, but essentially this tutorial is spot on. I was able to find some features on the Meta marketplace by using, or looking for, your terminology. Thanks! I Nate, or anyone who solved it already. I tried to make a carousel ad, with three images. The preview does not show the images on Instagram, but it does for Facebook. There is text in the images and I wondered if that is the problem. The message was "Multiple text options are not available with customized ad creative for different placements. If you customize a placement, we'll remove the additional text options for your carousel ad." that leaves a pretty bland post on Instagram!

Something important you forgot to mention or maybe it was added in 2021, but there's an approval time period when you press that publish button. Very deceiving. I wish Facebook made it more clear when you're making the campaign that there's an approval process. Don't expect your ad to go up as soon as you press "publish."

@@kalexis6484 go to your Facebook page (hope you've created one already). On the left side, scroll down to 'Settings' then select 'Instagram'. Then just click the 'Connect' button. It's easy :)

Hi Chuck! You should be able to see the results in real-time of your ads directly in Facebook Ads Manager where you created the ads. I suggest changing the metrics in your view as not all of them will be relevant to you. Hope that helps! :)

yes! you can do that by choosing 'use existing post' in the ad creation window. You can filter by Instagram posts :)
