@neverwithoutnalani6 жыл бұрын
I don’t know how Gracie did hers but I found on Etsy someone who makes ribbon racks out of chicken wire and you can get them in any letter shape. Mine is an E and it’s huge! I have over 20 rosettes and it’s not even a quarter full.

@gretagarner27216 жыл бұрын
@@zeezee8957 you can see her rustling it with her shoulder as she speaks. i'm pretty sure someone's jealous. go to a show! they often hand out ribbons like candy. I've been to four shows and have fifteen ribbons. I got three ribbons for one show, three ribbons for another show, three ribbons for another show and six ribbons for the fourth show. guaranteed if you do one show you'll get at least two ribbons, but maybe it's because the shows I've been to are oriented around kids so the place ribbons get down to twelfth place or even the teens to keep children from feeling bad.

Imogen Moonan Why? They’re nothing wrong with bits.

They are just more comfortable for the horse and more gentle to ride in, especially with people that tend to hang off the horse's mouth.

Silvy Not always. My horses hat bitless bridles
@IvyMPDressage6 жыл бұрын
disagree. I use both bits and hackamores, and I can say myself that a lot of horses hate hackamores. hackamores are also twice as harsh (if not, more) than your average snaffle - hackamores can break a horse's nasal bones and collapse nasal cavaties. I am not defending bits, it's just many people in the equestrian world (*cough cough) don't realise that hackamores/side pulls/crossunders can be dangerous for horses, and many horses dislike nose, poll and chin pressure. some horses may also respond better to bits - not because they are 'pain devices' but because they understand and prefer to respond to that pressure as opposed to nose/chin/poll pressure. my baby horse hates poll pressure, but my other horse 'loves' it.
@ciara28376 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree with that, and mechanical hackamores can be even more harmful to the horse than bits, but it always depends on how you are using it and how the horse is responding. One of the horses I ride absolutely despises bits and won't let you put one in his mouth (this has developed over time), however, the other horse I ride responds well to the bit, and I don't tend to pull to much so that it could be harmful.

@ponyprincess604 жыл бұрын
half pads are made for more exited/active horses and if horses are more lazy ir slow, thats when you arent supposed to use a half pad because they can’t feel your kicks as much. I don’t use a half pad on my horse because he is very lazy.

If you want him to be really comfortable, you could try using a riser, I don’t know what you call them but that’s what I call them. They’re a fluffy thing that goes between the saddle and the saddle pad. We use them at the yard I ride at and all of the horses use them. Also nice jumping 🙂
@armoredwings41826 жыл бұрын
If the saddle fits really well, a riser pad or half pad isn't totally necessary. Though I personally like a little padding with my saddles as well.
