I'm also an oily + mature skin gal and the one skin tint foundation I tried and absolutely loved was the new one by Maybelline. I wore it most of the summer and loved it! Yes, I did have to powder over it, but I have to powder over everything at least 2-3 times per day. I do feel comfortable recommending it, and since it's drugstore, it's way more affordable than most of the other skin tints out there.

Risa, I have been wearing Lancome Natural Mauve for almost 20 years. Love the color, the long wear formula and the lip brush on the other end. I use it as an all over lip color with just a nude gloss over it.

I have a question and I know you are busy, but if you have any time to spare, could you explain to me why so many blushes turn orange on my face and what I need to do to correct that? I use Vitamin C from Timeless to brighten up my complexion every day, but still the skin doesn't look bright. Although when I am not wearing makeup, I do get complements on my skin. I get a facial every month, so my skin is always soft and healthy looking. I do use primer prior to foundation. Is it the setting powder, or the foundation? Should I look for a specific color? Anyway...thank you for all you do for us.

I have an under the eye question. If I apply an under the eye brightener (I use Catrice) do I still need to use a concealer. If I do use both in which order should I use them? Risa. Im an oiy girl too. I have the same exact problems with my skin and the oil. As you, you were the person that convinced me to try Estee Lauder double wear and it's been one of my favorite foundations for years now. I've tried serum foundations myself and they're just awful. I also can't use that Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter 'cause it's like putting grease on my face. Before my makeup, it's just too oily. I don't know if you found the same thing or not..

Risa, I know you have some strawberry blonde in your hair, or it does appear that way on my end. In this video, the strawberry blonde was ther but looked more vibrant and alive, as if you had done a possible glaze application. Anyway... whether lighting or just the recent hair appointment... it was the first thing I noticed when I clicked on your video. And then, of course, the beautiful face and makeup application. I would love to know how you manage to keep mascara from smudging on hooded eyes with oily skin. I thought once I went thru menopause an my skin was no longer oily that would stop but it hasn't. I have tried so many waterproof mascara's, eye primers, powdering my lashes etc an still end up with smudging.😔

I don't use mascara on my bottom lashes. I always use waterproof mascara. I use primer by NYX meant for glitter. Danessa Myricks blurring cream under my eyes, light powder underneath eyes. Just my .02 cents 😊

You said you couldn't find a particular shade of Maybelline lipliner & I didn't hear you say Wal-Mart or Amazon. Wal-Mart has the largest shade range for most brands, though I do note that not every Wal-Mart carries all of the same brands. I have a couple where I live that have Relove & la color in some but not in other Wal-Marts. That said they all have just about every Maybelline product in about every shade offered. Amazon usually has what I cannot find anywhere else if all else fails. Ulta is just a disappointing failure on every level. Good luck finding the lipliner shade! God Bless All Y'all 🙏🇺🇸💄🇺🇸🙏

I am combo & it kind of just disappeared on me and then my texture was looking not cute. Now I need that Real Techniques sponge!! Thank you always for the best recommendation!
