Excellent video Jorge! We have a similar setup with our boat but we opted for a flexible panel since we put it on top of our Bimini. We’re also using an inverter to power our appliances. We want to add a solar trickle charger for exactly what youre doing! Clean install bro! 🤙

I dont want to drill holes in the roof. Is there a roof rack I can install the panels on..

Hi Jordan, our Jeanneau has a roof rack from factory for paddle boards, but if we install the solar panel on the rack you would lose the ability to put stuff up there for transport. But yes it would be an option. Also putting a roof rack would still need to make holes to install it to the roof. Also there's a 3M tie down tape called VHB that others have use to glue down the angles and solar panel Z mounts to the roof on RV's, that may be an option for you. Thanks for watching our video! Can you run the AC longer with the solar charging?

Hi Mark, thanks for watching and commenting. I would say yes, and it all depends on how hot it is, and how many lithium batteries you have in the system. In our Jeanneau 795 we have 3 lithium batteries, which can work for about 4 to 5 hrs of a/c on a full charge, but with the solar panel it can help put back some, and maybe extend that a little. I have not install the solar panel on the lithium batteries yet, that will come soon in a another video. But the other two batteries, the house, and engine batteries the solar panel is doing great, full 100% charge everyday. Blessings! Peace from the Keys!
