This good sir has just owned Microsoft and HP making this scanner work under windows 10 although MS and HP have categorically mentioned that it won't work under Windows 10. Excelent work!

Is there a driver work around for the older Scanjet 8300? After installing the driver on my new PC, there is a Adobe Flash icon that appears when I run the software. And according to the Adobe website they have discontinued Flash as of January 2021. If I try and install Flash Adobe automatically removes the software and install driver and I am left with a 30 pound paperweight. HP has offered up no up-to-date software driver to replace the pre-2021 driver. Any help if applicable is appreciated.
