Im not sure what are you asking but 1 box 1 control 1 fan. I installed 3 total for my 3 bedrooms and they are still working fine. Hope that ans your question.

this is nonsense, the fan has a mechanical switch with 3 wires controling the fan speed Low Med High, the remote controller should be made to replace the original swich using the same wires
