I want to do flutter in Intellij then it's ok ? I don't want to use Android studio . Is my statement is true ? I just confused that I have to install both of these ?

I've got a question: Do you recommend that a developer master Android app development before switching over to Flutter? Or would back anyone to go all in into Flutter even with intermediate-level experience with Android?

@@HeyFlutter Yes, it makes sense. I'm more into web design/web development, but I know enough of Java and Android as well to make a basic app (one of which I recently released on Play Store). But, considering I have limited time on a daily basis, I was wondering if I should keep extending my knowledge in Android, or if I should just switch completely to Flutter because that would be more beneficial for me on the long term (again, I can only stick to one at the moment). I guess I didn't word my initial question properly. But what are your thoughts?

@nexTRIE Stick to Flutter. I feel Android will become sth. similar to Assembler on PCs and Flutter is more of a higher language/framework sth. related more to Java and it's platform independence. Because Flutter is also platform independent!

open intellij idea + android studio is an awesome ram consumption, in my opion to develop flluter in adroid studio is the best option, regards

You only need to open intellij during development and not also Android studio. It is only necessary to open Android studio to set everything up correctly. However if you like to work with Android studio then it is fine - you can work with it too.
