Thank You!!! After 9 attempts and searching everywhere for a solution, I found this outstanding video. Worked the first time - WOO-HOO!!! The ethernet cable was a key factor in my opinion. 10 hours left for the TimeMachine to finish.Looking forward to having the new 2T HD. Great Big Thank You!!!

I applaud you sir! You've done it! You saved my marriage! My wife had my iMac destined for the dump! I have been struggling over the last 6 months or so trying to figure out why my beloved (vintage) iMac was failing. This was my last attempt! I changed the old drive to an SSD and followed your instructions and she is alive again!! Thank you! Thank you! I am a happy man!
