I'm in Arizona. Having been 114 to 118 outside last week I'm definitely installing one. Transmission cooler has probably helped a bit since I did last year too.

The light in the Guage blinks faster then the human eye can see. And the shutter on your camera opens and closes slower than the light blinks. So thats why it appears to blink on the video.

I did mine in the drivers side center a/c vent in a (3d printed vent) but used an autometer gauge and sending unit

Its called frame rate per second... thats what causes the light to flicker. Nice gauges I just got mine.

Mine did the same thing, then the next day it stopped, weird. My gauge was supposed to have white as one of the colors, closest to it is a very light blue, does your gauge have white?

I don’t think that transmission has a transport. I think you’re supposed to put it in the oil pan.

I had a service plug on the side of the transmission. It is easier to do. Then all you need is a short temperature sensor so you don't block the passage or crack the housing.

@@tubinruben115 i got ypu, but will the sensor read the correct oil's temp becuase it place is far from oil?

@@user-ky3zt3gm1f yes. The oil test port on the side of the transmission, the oil runs through it. You will get an accurate reading of trans temp. If it was in the pan would be the ultimate but you would have to buy an 1/8 inch NTP nut or a pan that has one on it.

Not being a transmission expert I would think the sensor installed in the pan would be best place for the install. I am thinking about the condition of a pump failure. Your thoughts?

@@A1rsoftKid putting in the pressure port is gonna only read the case temp putting it in the oil pan is going to read the actual oil temp
