Ohh man thank you very much!!! i was suffering here. with a google pops up msg saying not working. i made all the steps but the aurora because i already had it working here. After doing all the steps msg keeps popping so i reboot my p60 pro and looks like it solved!!! Best tutorial ever!! you now have anew follower. Regars from Brazil.

Everything worked like a charm, except the google contact, even downloading and installing the google contact sync. I now have the option to sync the contacts in my account, but it does not syncs the contacts. I still get the message: "no contacts in this account". Any tips or ideas on how to solve?

Yes! With newer versions of microG it is possible to add accounts. Check out our installation guide for Pura 70 devices. It's also valid for all EMUI 14.2 devices! ^ML

Yes! I use this with my Mate X3 (C432). Working great. Unfortunatly Android Auto at the moment only works on the "native" EMUI 14.2 devices, like the Pura 70 series. ^ML

Thanks!!! How can you be sure that Google didn't steal your personal data. ;) Android as an open source software always has a great community. In former times with lot of custom rom firmwares. And from the beginning there was microG as an alternative for the Google Mobile Services (GMS). An alternative which will not provide as lot of data as the official GMS. It's also an open source project. So everybody can check what this software is doing. ^ML

Nope! Signature spoofing is the key for using microG as "full" alternative to GMS. Unfortunatly signature spoofing is only available with EMUI 14.x devices (and with P60 Pro and Mate X3 with latest EMUI 13.2 firmware). I also have the MatePad 11 and wish to use this method with all my HUAWEI devices.... ^ML

If any Huawei phone running EMUI 14 can easily accommodate to Google apps without login problems or the need of micro G, then I might consider Huawei in the future since EMUI is one of the best Android I've ever used

@@HuaweiVideos I also found it surprising that signing into a Google account on a recent Huawei phone, but instead of having the typical "you're signed to your Google account on your Huawei nova 5t" , it mentions something like "you're currently signed in to your Google account on your Huawei nova Y61" which is not a Google registered device . Here's my experience using an EMUI 12 device without Google services. 1. Google Chrome does work and I can easily log into my account 2. Google search also works but impossible for me to login, but the sound search engine does work 3. Google maps works, despite the typical warning message but also impossible to login. Other Google apps don't work at all. I think that things will get better once Huawei will start rolling out EMUI 15

As shown in the video guide you can use Aurora as Play Store client. Aurora uses the same app database like the official Play Store. If you prefer the official Play Store app you can use GBox and the Play Store app. If you have microG the apps can be installed in system (instead of virtual machine from GBox). ^ML
