I'll try to explain below in timestamps what I may have forgotten to mention in a section if you are skipping through the video or just simply figured something out after i uploaded :] ****Make sure your game is in ENGLISH go to steam and go to the game properties to do this , if u don’t have it in English u will get the error “GR_System “ or the “?menutext?” Error I forgot to mention that :) **** MAKE SURE STEAM IS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND so mod engine launchers can launch it needs it running for it to be used. Timestamps : 0:00 - 1:08 Explaining :] 1:08 - 4:42 in game settings changes before adding mods to prevent texture and fps issues { common issue for some } 4:43 -6:09 Graceborne installment steps 6:10 - 8:46 Graceborne installment Parry \ Config file edits this is the last step and then you can play graceborne it take us only 5 minutes to install :) everything else in video is for seamless mod , save data issues and another method for mod engine 2 if the .bat file don’t work, PLEASE READ BELOW or the video link above if you cant parry at all, I started to play 1.13 now after this video and notice i couldnt parry this is how i fix it, video on that is above and below this message. ***************************************************** 8:47 - 13:24 Adding seamless to graceborne or how to run seamless by itself 13:24 - 17:35 few ways to solve Save data issues solutions { last minute in this section, is probably the best way to solve it if removing save files didn't help or verifying game files , you can move the regulation.bin file back inside the mod folder again after u fix it, i forgot to mention this at this moment but i mentioned it at the end of the video because i reminded myself :X } ALSO if you played graceborne in 1.12.4 or even 1.10 , and have save files of that progress and getting the save data issue , you just need to start the regular game , as for me i use the offline game launcher to do it but u can use steam as long as the game version is 1.13 still, and just load up the menu without the mods , if u dont see the error here , then u can load your mod through the launcher for it. Sometimes old save files just needs to be linked with the new game updated version so u can still use ur save files from pass graceborne if you wish without having to start all over again. this is why we say to start the game without the mods to update old save files and also when making new ones. 17:36 If the bat file doesnt work this is another way on how you can use mod engine 2 and also how to use seamless this way as well { make sure you edit your config file if you skipped the part where i edit it since i forgot to explain that part for those who skipped, and to also add "ersc.dll" in your config which i mentioned how to earlier in the video where i edit it in. } The timestamp for "adding seamless to graceborne" shows this. discord : Ladysheik if you need extra help Installing isn't hard to do but video is long to cover everything in one and hope it solves most confusions

I'm very new to mods, can I ask you please if you need to have steam in offline mode to play this? Also, does launching normal ER on steam (but with this mood in the files) get me banned from steam? Sorry, I know nothing TToTT Thank you!

When you use Mod engine files like “ launchmod_eldenring.bat “ or if u use the other method at the end of my video “ start_protected_game(2).exe “ file to launch the mod , you are offline when u use those file to launch, this automatically puts u offline, mods are only meant to be used offline that’s why it’s offline when u launch it. If you use the method from the start of the video for mod engine2 you can go to steam and play online without the mods without getting banned, I believeeee lol if you use the second method of mod engine where all those files are in your game files I’m not sure if u can go online through steam or will need to remove them or anything since I never tried that. So basically using mod engine to launch the game = always offline so ur safe

I hope I made sense if not I’ll try to reword it 😂 but yeah if u use the file from mod engine to launch it like I say in the video u can play the mod fine without being banned bc u won’t be online at all through it, even if u use ersc_launcher.exe to play seamless mod only it will always automatically have you offline. Clicking the game through steam to try and play regular Elden ring without the mods is still playable for the most part that I know of, either way even if you banned u can still play the game 😫 it’s only 180 days banned LOL ;) but nah u should be fine I think I just don’t know about the second method to use mod engine since everything is in your game files idk if loading up steam to play online regularly if it will think any of those things are bannable.

Hello, Im not sure if this was mentioned in the video but, if I wanted to play normal elden ring, what do I remove within the game folder?

@@qynamm I personally don’t know but if u don’t have the mod engine folder in game files I think u can just use steam regular if u want to be safe , swap out graceborne save files & and the game folder content you put in your game folder like the “ parry” folder the param n etc idk what the names r right now but over all i think u fine if u don’t have mod engine setup like I said in the end of the video , I personally haven’t tried I’m just assuming u should be fine lol

@@Valata9 if u use discord u can join graceborne discord n show pictures of what u seeing , they have a support channel where others and myself help people install it correctly or any issues or message me on discord LadySheik so I can see your issue n help u fix it because I’m not sure what error u getting I have to see to know :) maybe something u didn’t do correctly usually the case so we can talk on there

At first I just had calibration problem the rest was perfect. After watching this video the mod stopped working lol

@@blaimmi it’s a user mistake. Lol you probly did something wrong if the mod doesn’t load for u, if u need help my discord is Ladysheik I can see ur screen or screenshots n spot the problem. Literally not a problem that’s not refixable, if u had a calibration issue as in it was 1.13.2 then u need apply the 1.13.2 update on graceborne if u haven’t. But overall nothing in this video causes u a problem, it’s something u did or didn’t do correctly that stopped the mod, if it doesn’t load at all recheck your config file. Like I said my discord is open if u need actual help since it’s easier for me to see what caused it after seeing your files, but defly something on your end, it happens people make mistakes ^_^

Hello, good video, I have followed all the steps and the game with the mod opens perfectly but when I connect to my friend the message of connecting appears and then it gives an error, do you know how to solve this? :)

@@kingk2377 I’ll say this though idk what it really says when u try to connect n the error , but make sure u guys r on the same version, same game version like everything the same just incase i know its a simple knowledge but sometimes a common mistake

@@LadySheik We have the same version of both the game and the seamless coop and the graceborne, only the message "connecting 2/2" appears but instead of taking me to your game another message appears saying that the summoning has failed, so idk what the error is , thanks anyway, let me know if you can fix it

Editting the TOML like in the video worked and the main issue was the bat file, what worked for me was editing the bat file to look like this: Ofcourse you set your paths manually, you might have different locations than me. chcp 65001 :: The above line is necessary in case you edit this file to lead to a path with Unicode characters. "C:\Games\Graceborn\Mod Engine 2\modengine2_launcher.exe" -t er -p "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\eldenring.exe" -c "C:\Games\Graceborn\Mod Engine 2\config_eldenring.toml"

@@xlmnti thanks for sharing I believe I seen this before , should’ve mention it but this is why sometimes people just use the last method I showed to make mod engine work since it was stated as an alternative from mod engine. Lol I’ll make sure to mention this for those in the future who don’t want mod engine in their game files as well

@@gangwu4541 actually I looked it up and it says : Fixed issues: Gun parry now works, keep a safe distance and remember blunderbuss and cannon can't parry if your trick weapon transitions aren't working, transfer the files in the "game" part of your graceborne folder into your Elden Ring game folder and write the pathing to the gun parry fix into your .toml file “ So I guess blunderbuss doesn’t parry :o

@@LadySheik Thank you for your time! I’ve tried many hours today to see if that is something i did wrong installing the mod or just bad timing and all that 😆. Because I watched another guys video regarding gun parry in this mod (older version, 1.12 I assume) and he showed that hunter blunderbuss indeed can parry in his video but he also said that only hunter pistol and blunderbuss can parry in that version of the mod. Kinda confused me because I can parry with all guns except blunderbuss. I hope the creator will add that function back in future release if possible. Great work really appreciate your help! By the way I installed the mod on two PCs and the process was quite smooth. It is really not difficult to install this mod at all.

@@gangwu4541 yeah I played 1.12 & 1.10 mainly but I didn’t try a lot of the weapons to see what can parry and what couldn’t I usually just stick to one in my playthrough so I won’t be aware of the differences. I’m sure the creator will try to make it all work if it’s intended :) and yes ! Mod is very easy to install especially now, it just can be confusing for new modders or they can run into weird situations which is why I try to cover as much as I know in this video that was common, most issues are the user pc or the user not installing properly. I just try to focus on the new modders by explaining it and showing how it’s done and proving it works lol literally mod takes like 5 minutes or so to make work if everything goes as planned ^__^

I've tried following step by step and downloaded the update for the mod but only an unmodded elden ring pops up every time. Do I have to copy the game folder from elden ring and paste it in the same folder I'm keeping mod engine 2? I'm sorry I'm just at a loss on what I am doing wrong

@@birscy message on discord, LadySheik , so I can see screenshots of your files it’s easier to see what’s missing , if regular Elden ring pops up it’s probably because of your config file , make sure u done everything I explained I know u said u done it but just incase mistakes happens. Like the double // make sure I have it , and etc. game folder is for game folder of Elden ring. Just take ur time retrace ur steps and make sure but it’s usually config probably didn’t do your path or something

I managed to launch graceborne with seemless coop but I can't hit other people in pvp with trick weapons. And they can't see me even if i have one modded gear equipped. Is this a bug or have i installed incorrectly?

Thanks for the detailed guide! However when I started the mod using the bat file, what appears below "Graceborne" is not the menu. Instead it's "GR_System_Message(101000)" and "?MenuText?". Any clues on how to fix that🥲

Hi, first of all thnx 4 the great tutorial 😊 i got the game running with the mods and changes working first try coz of it. one thing tho, the guy you can get the armors and the weapons in the church of ellah is just a corpse on the ground that i can talk to but the menu where you buy weapons or armors are empty. any ideas on what may cause this?

For an example I’m up to date so my game is 1.13 and I use graceborne 1.13 , if u don’t have the sync versions u can probably experience this issue so confirm you have the right game version & calibration version that works for the graceborne u r using ?

@@nochenegra1017 make sure to return the regulation.bin file back to where it was in the mod folder after you create your save. that is what fixed it for me

Hey, it seems when I download Graceborne, it does not come with the game, mod engine or regulation bin files, it is a single RARfile that cant be extracted, I've been looking for hours and I cant find anything to help this problem, I downloaded mod engine 2 on my own and tried to do the rest of the steps listed in the Nexus Mods instructions but when I opened the game it was just regular Elden Ring, Is there any way to fix this?

@@SharpBaguette you need all the files the mod gives you for it to work , this is defly something on your pc causing u not getting the files, do u have winrar to extract the files ? We may have to share screen in a Discord call if u can’t figure it out. I’ll try to help. You should get everything I show in video in the download ,if u don’t, ur pc is missing something that’s not letting u get it or somesort like winrar is use to extract rar files idk how u can’t extract it like u said , never heard of that? . Reach me if you still need help on discord LadySheik , since this isn’t a mod issue , u just not getting the files so lil difficult to know what u missing on your computer or a setting.

@@LadySheik Firstly, thank you so much, I downloaded both winrar and 7-zip, 7-zip ended up working for me, just had to open the file with 7-zip and then open the archive and it ended up being able to extract

Im having a small problem with the trick weapon animations not work. I can still switch to the other weapon but the switch animations arent playing. Do you know what the reason for this is/how to fix this?

@@0_ohmuhgod299 I got on to test what u have since when I uploaded this I didn’t even play 1.13 yet lol but for me I get my sounds and I can see my transformation, I’m asking more info of what can cause your issue in their discord I’ll reply back if I heard anything, until then make sure u done everything right I know it’s a long video but maybe u didn’t move ur game folders from graceborne into your game files ? Or maybe ur config isn’t the path of your script exposer or maybe u didn’t add the two slashes where it’s needed? Just throwing suggestions until then 😫

This is what someone replied to me regarding your issue “ so with the 1.13 update there were new added game files along with the usual mod engine 2 files to add in to the mod, most common issue with the anims not working was they simply hadn't updated their game folder as well as their mod engine 2 folder when the update dropped. I had also heard that someone had to add the gun parry patch path to the .toml in their mod engine 2 file for it to start working, so I thought it would be worth adding it as a "if this doesn't work try this" option “

Is there any way to install this mod without having to put files in the root of the game, to avoid human errors when playing without the mods?

@@rodrigomongin unless u want to get a cracked version to separate it , I’m not sure , I’m not really 100% sure how to be safe to play original the folders u add to game files u can probly remove to play original and then re add them for mod maybe ? I do know mod engine keeps u safe though if u use it the normal way instead of the way I explained in the end of the video. N only files in game files is the folders you add like the “crossbow..” folder and etc which I believe removing them to play regular should be okay along with the graceborne.ini file and don’t use shaders . but yeah I’m not 100% sure

@@LadySheik Thank you for the answer because I needed to ask, because due to my mistake I could forget to remove the mod. I mean, I play the original and I have the reforged here with me, which has its own launcher along with the mod engine and none of the 2 (modengine and reforged) They stay in the game folder but in my downloads folder, which saves me the hassle of remembering to remove the mod files before returning to the normal game and thus avoid getting banned.
