I done this tdy morning and it my phone completely died. It told updating dont turn of your phone and went to 100%.Then after that it never turned on neither when i plug in it indicates anything about charging nor it can be accessed with the volume down/up with power button

As per the sources, HyperOS unock is little bit triky.....Join the Xiaomi Community app, obtain a Level 5 account, which may take a months to reach Level 5. Once you reach Level 5, apply for the bootloader unlock. Answer all the questions correctly to pass the exam. If you successfully clear the exam, then you can unlock the bootloader using the Mi Unlock tool.
