I honestly don’t know why this doesn’t have more views. Like you did it all. All other videos only show how to install server but not workbench. Thank you so so much for combining both and making it look so easy!!! You are a great teacher!!!

Hello! What is the difference between MySQL and other types of SQL eg T-Sql?
@DataVizCanvas Жыл бұрын
Thats a great question. Below are few difference between My SQL and T SQL MySQL is an open-source relational database management system that is used to store, manage and manipulate data. It is commonly used for web applications and has a large user community. MySQL uses a syntax that is similar to standard SQL, with some additional features and functions that are specific to MySQL. T-SQL, on the other hand, is a proprietary language that is used in Microsoft SQL Server. It is an extension of SQL that includes additional features and syntax that are specific to SQL Server. T-SQL includes features such as stored procedures, triggers, and functions that allow for more complex database operations. Here are a few examples to illustrate some of the differences between MySQL and T-SQL: Data Types: Both MySQL and T-SQL have some common data types, such as integer, varchar, and date. However, there are some differences in the specific data types that are supported. For example, MySQL has a "SET" data type that is used to store a set of values, while T-SQL does not have an equivalent data type. Stored Procedures: T-SQL has a feature called stored procedures, which are precompiled SQL statements that can be called from other SQL statements. Stored procedures are used to simplify complex database operations and improve performance. MySQL also has stored procedures, but they have some differences in syntax and functionality compared to T-SQL stored procedures. Transactions: Transactions are used to ensure data consistency in a database. Both MySQL and T-SQL support transactions, but there are some differences in the syntax and functionality. For example, in MySQL, you can use the "START TRANSACTION" statement to begin a transaction, while in T-SQL, you use the "BEGIN TRANSACTION" statement. In summary, while both MySQL and T-SQL are used to interact with relational databases, there are some key differences in syntax and functionality that make them suited to different use cases. MySQL is commonly used for web applications, while T-SQL is used in Microsoft SQL Server for more complex database operations. Hope that helps 🙂
