i have tried this but the game crashes now and will not load when trying to start. if i change the dxgi name to wininet.dll it will start but the dlss options are gone any advise? Nvidia card 4080

You have rtx 4080 so you should already have frame gen option in games.

In short uniscaler is a old mod and its compatibility with newer games is bad causing crashing and biggest problem was ui hud glitches and flickering of on screen icons and text but this new optiscaler basically fixes all these issues and works way better with much more games being supported.

Lossless is external app that applies frame generation like an overlay and there is no FSR it's there old ls scaling and older version of fsr and ofc worse quality also lsfg of lossless scaling will never achieve the level of amd frame gen because mod modifies the internal game files and to produce best frame gen fps, so optiscaler is better ofc in whatever game it's supported you should use this mod otherwise if mod is not working in some case then lossless scaling.

Silent Hill 2 remake already got frame gen fsr 3.1 you have the update the game to latest version and run game on dx 12 mode, you will get frame gen option inside game settings

Make sure silent Hill 2 is running on dx 12 api if not, in properties of sh2 shortcut in patch add -DX12. This will make game running in dx 12

I know lossless causes artifact around the character (or 4 borders of the screen) BUT I just keep it open on my ally and start any game from steam big picture mode. So FG is applied automatically without using mouse/keyboard. Questions: 1. Does this tool offer any feature like above? 2. Can I use it for ally z1e?

That's not technically possible because dlss and frame gen of Nvidia is not open source so no one can make mod, but fsr 3 frame gen is open source that's why we got mods like this.

Not necessarily to use it, only if in some case the mod don't work you can double click on enabler signature override reg file, but in general it don't do anything.

@@clownvl3278 Optiscaler will work in adding FSR 3.1.2 or XeSS 1.3.1 in God of War 2018. But given it's DX11, Frame Gen won't be possible.

I think Nukem9 FSR 3.1 FG mod is the best for RTX GPUs it replaces the original DLSS 3 FG with FSR 3.1 FG
