I never thought about putting the hose clamps on opposing each other. That makes perfect sense, but I never thought about it. Well done.

Man, that is crazy that you can get a well at 38 feet. They have got to be several hundred feet deep where I live. That is really cool. The only time I mess with pump lines like that is for irrigation lines when people have lakefront property. I’ve been plumbing since 2005 and only once have I worked on Well. That shit is cool to me.

@@LearnPlumbing do most of the people who have wells have septic systems as well or are they on city sewer? I’m curious what they would charge you for a sewer bill if you didn’t have a water bill.

You told me I needed to hear 12 seconds in. Just moved in to a place and the water is brown. I pumped the well dry and my foot valve is laying on the bottom in the muck.

I wish changing my foot valve was that easy. My well is maybe 16 feet deep but has a man made cistern that holds a few thousand gallons and you have to go down into it via a ladder after pumping the level down to change it. Spring fed. What a pain.
