I am installing the new dust seal on mine, part #BRS-170. The OTC part #'s for the tool you used don't look like the right ones of the dust seal. Can you confirm? Thank you

Thats really the outer axle dust shield and not the inner axle oil seal.

There's a cone in the axle tube that aids in inserting the axle into the side gear in the carrier. As long as this plastic cone is intact, you done need to try and lift the axle shaft to get it into the diff.

These seals by design are a disaster, the rubber seal spins inside itself. To install the axel shaft, you do need plenty of grease on the rubber in order to slide it in and seat without tearing the rubber. They don't last the winter season with constant 4x4 engaged.
